I had thought it was beneficial for the body and spirit. Depending on your diet and age and health, you may detox on the Daniel fast. Maybe quite a bit. Are you on meds?
Are you going to eat all raw, or cook the veggies?
A good quality water is important.
If you can, do organic. If you cook the veggies, then try to steam them as much as possible. If you go off for a day, don't worry, just go back on the next day.
All raw will accelerate the detox. But it will also help spiritually, as long the detox is not to severe.
