Hi, My name is Kaye. I am recently separated and am in the depths of despair at the moment and am in need of lots of support. The separation came out of left field I am feeling very bruised and lost. Anyone have hints on how to getb through this. i have great friends, 2 amazing kids and my God. But still feel very alone. help.

At times words of comfort tend to become scarce; but what I can say is that, find rest in Him (God) alone.
He heals and handles the issues of the heart quite well.

I understand what you are going through. It is very hard to deal with separation and divorce, especially with children. I am a single divorced mom of a 13 and 14 year old boys. Do not be dismayed my friend. God is your rock and your fortress. Although it doesn't feel as though He is in control right now, He really is.

Take time and pray. I assume your children are grown and can care for themselves? If so, take time for yourself right now. Let God work to heal your heart. Whatever caused this separation/divorce, you will have to allow time for God to mend the brokenness you feel right now.

Spend time with your good friends. If they are few, then there are many good people here who you can come and fellowship with. There are chat rooms open 24/7. My inbox is open always, so please feel free.

One again, don't forget to pray and don't harbor anger. I'm sure there is some there and there will be for a while. Just don't harbor it. Talk it out, and pray it through.

Hey, It's so good to get everones feedback. Have been having a few bad days. have to learn to hand it all over to God but sometimes that can be so hard. I have never been one to ask for help now I need it from everyone. Strange situation for me to be in. But with love and support from my friends at CC and my real life friends and my God I am getting stronger. So please know your words of support mean a lot to me even though you are far away from me. Hey quick update. Feeling stronger today. God is good. Sometimes I feel I am being selfish and wanting God to do things my way but he hasother plans I just have to be patient and see where this new jouney leads me. Pray for me to leave it up to him I am finding it a bit difficult at the moment. god bless. kaye

I haven't been on for a while been going through a lot. had some minor surgery and recovering well. Thought I had a chance to sort out my relationship with my spouse only for him to tell me he wants nothing to do with me. i am so incredibly sad. I tryto
hand it over to God but the sadness is overwhelming I love my husband and want him in my life but it's not what he wants. Please God help me I am so very lost and sad. I need help and prayers. I am just so sad.

I want you to read this, I was in the same situation as you it nearly killed me.

Thankyou for your prayers and support. You are always there when I am feeeling at my lowest with just the words i need. Yes I admit sometimes i cinvince myself that God doesn't love me because my ex husband convinced me I was unlovable because he no longer loved me. How wrong he is. I have so many people loving me and praying for me and I feel God next to me holding me up and loving me. So thankyou for all your words of wisdom. they give me hope. Kaye.
