I was trying to discuss REALITY.

I wasn't trying to "put you down."

When you're able to deal with a bit of criticism, whether it's fair or unfair, then you'll be ready to create art for public consumption.

Good luck with everything.
Well thank you for telling me good luck, I appreciate that. I will say I do believe art of any kind is very subjective.

I've received a lot of complements about my works, so I am thinking I'm simply not posting to my target audience, which of course is obvious and clear. Now, you could argue, when I'm speaking to someone face to face, maybe they are not being fully honest with me to my face. Could be. But if others have only liked my works, I must consider why I am only now hearing this. We can agree to disagree that is perfectly fine with me. I'm sure I will have a million more such conversations with others stating similar things before all is said and done.

The only time I have performed my works publicly up to this point, went like this. I started performing, 10 people in the room. 10 minutes later, 200, with more unable to enter as it was a small venue. It's a fine line, and a slippery slope, for most artists I'm sure, to distinguish the difference, between constructive and destructive criticism. Just saying "this sucks", what does that accomplish. There are two sides to that coin. Maybe I could change something about my music, that would cause you personally, to like it better. On the flip side, that might cause someone else, to now dislike it. I'm sure we could go back and forth until we are both blue in the face. Maybe some good would come out of that, maybe not. It is what it is.

I've heard much better rapping. My point in posting it was that she did it in a way that will leave listeners pondering something, rather than just liking the sound, rhyme, or beat of words and music. If you asked most people what a rapper said, they will usually just remember that the dude liked Ho's and hated cops.... often little more.
Ok, here. I didn't feel the need to nitpick my own stuff, but here is one of the songs I made, that was on my newer sound cloud account. Yes, it's a capella right now, yes no beat.

It's called, God and secular. The name is more about what I have seen people in the world, responding better to, alowing me to now have a conversation with someone, and maybe lead them to the Christ. In it, I switch back and forth, between pointed jabs that are things people "in the world" can relate to, and things people "in the church" can relate to. I'm trying to bridge the gap, for salvations to occur. I will post it a MUCH easier to read format, for all of our sakes.

my flows so sickening yet I know you keep listening

seeds sown, cleanin' you up, i'm so Listerine

washin' your mouth out with soap, I know it's so gross

I'm printing money, choppin' green like a guillotine

what was the head of Goliath rollin', hearin' a lion roarin'

my mind is on fire this mornin', try and acquire a taste for my higher power

Jesus Christ, He told me quit speakin' nice

bringin' this mic back to life again, come and seek advice

these words married to your eardrums, and I'm flingin' rice

I'm not playin' patty cake, a new flavor, taste that, yeah you're eatin' spice

the holy spirit will increase and rise, i'm tryin' to teach you guys

walkin' the only line that exists between God and secular

so one ever expected this blessed molecular

a fresh test for my unquestionable reservoir

your best guess is a failed attempt as you crest, what you half steppin' for?

i'm mint condition, while your bent wishin'

multiplied, like 5 loaves and 2 fishes

i just left you scratchin' your head, you don't even know what I just mentioned

you're not even in contention, clowns in a circus convention

unnerved verbs reverberating while your persperating

I knew the whole time, your just hurt and faking

so just look up if you've had enough

that's the only way to say uncle, and only way I'm letting up

doubled down, I'm betting up

but Christ is only odds 100 percent

a hunter the hunger I spit

hunger games I'm slayin' you friend, that's it

So, most people in the world, will get, many of my pointed sayings. People "fling rice" at weddings, patty cake and "eating spice", among others. But the 2 lines "multiplied, like 5 loves and 2 fishes. I just left you scratchin' your head, you don't even know what I just mentioned...." THAT line right there, opens up a talk about Christ feeding the masses, when He did that miracle in Mark 6:41. Also this section has been helpful right here:

I knew the whole time, your just hurt and faking

so just look up if you've had enough

that's the only way to say uncle, and only way I'm letting up

The "say uncle" line, in particular. I can then mention to them, John 14:6. "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Do you know how many people start changing, if you have the right moment with someone, and read them that line. Now maybe I just see alot of people and somehow strike a chord at the right moment, could be. But the bible says in Proverbs 18:21, "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." Also this one is helpful, during that oh so special moment, when people are standing at the heavenly gates (spiritually and eternally speaking) in Isaiah 55:11 "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Oh so many hearts just pour out at this point. People crying about this and that, just getting to the Lord for the first time ever.

So yes sir, I am very guarded with my gift, you can be sure of that. and I have cryied many tears for the lost and unsaved, even as I write this in fact, and I am no way even the least bit ashamed of that. I don't really care what PEOPLE, think of me. I have seen people enter the kingdom of heaven, at my leading sir. and I WILL, continue to improve and get better, and the Lord will CONTINUE, to use me to lead His people to the Christ. Why would I EVER, let somebody stop me from that, even if I maybe will need to improve even more, to get, where He is sending me.

So yes, say whatever you would like sir. They the nicest things on the planet, or the harshest things you can think up, or anything else inbetween, for any reason. Maybe it will do some good, maybe it won't. Maybe I will listen to it, maybe I won't. But I cannot deny what I have seen God use me for up to this point, and I would not give that up for anything.

Hopefully, even if we continue to disagree (maybe yes, maybe no), at least you now know where I am coming from.

God bless

Yes, I had already listened to that one.

But, I still have to say that no clear, distinct message came through to me. I guess I am trying to say that although many of the little ideas were meaningful, in and of themselves as three or four verse rhymes, I didn't have any sense of a direct message given to me when I finished listening to it.

But, if other do.... Hey, that's great.

Ah fine, last time I go into any of this. This is probably the clearest thing to a message I've ever done. I wasn't going to post my full profile, but why not I guess. Much different style. You might say the same thing about this, but this has a bit more of a message. The intended audience, Christian.
