I have an addiction to a certain sin (to keep it clean on here) I am a Christian, but I am struggling with my sin. I can't stop, I can't get enough, I keep begging God's forgiveness, but I keep repeating the same mistakes. I am afraid of what awaits me in the Afterlife. Satan has a strong grip on me, and I can't break free. Please pray for me and send me words of encouragement. God Bless
The bible says That Satan is the accuser of the breathren, he spends his time prosecuting things against us daily, but there is hope! Jesus Christ is our advocate where he spends his days defending us daily to God.
Be encouraged Jesus is on your side!
There is a big difference between being convicted and being condemned,
you sound like the devil is attacking you with condemnation, don't believe his lies.
Romans 12:1 - Says
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will
of God."
-----------------------------
This means to:
Study the word, dwell and memorize it, so that when you are tempted you can say.
"Nope! It is written!...(then say the scripture)"
Jesus was tempted too see here he is our example to follow:
Matthew 4
Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.
3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
4 But He answered and said, “
It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
[a]
5 Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple,
6 and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:
‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’
and,
‘In
their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’”
[b]
7 Jesus said to him, “
It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”
[c]
8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”
10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you,
[d] Satan!
For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”
[e]
11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

Jesus counter attacked the devils temptations by saying a scripture,
the scripture is as powerful as any two edged sword
Don't worry God knows you are trying in your heart do not be discouraged, his mercies are new every morning and great is his faithfulness.
God is concerned with things of the heart, if we are sincere or not and really trying. You ask forgiveness, he forgives and forgets, and so on and on and on and on --infinity.
For the Lord is good ..and his mercies endure forever.
