Wise words. Definitely agree.
Correcting an error
I wish you a happy blessed New Year. I was going through my profile and saw that a frown had been linked to your post from my name. I don't know how that happened but I am just letting you know it was an error. Life is classic. All these months the error was there and I did not know. I'm so glad God allowed me to see it today so that I could clarify the truth. I hope to contact you again in the future and post something encouraging.

Hello all. Just looking for others who believe. No one in my circle does so it's kinda tough. I feel in this time of spiritual warfare it's nice to know others are fighting the good fight. Thanks for having me.
I always look at the story of Lot. He lost his wife and no outside his family was a man of God. The true man of God is content in God alone.

I'm certain that Christ did not have friends, but a fellowship with his disciples. To know God is to not need friends but appreciate them when they come in your life. There's an addage. I love when true Christian friends come into my life and when those that try to crush my faith leave.

Living amongst so many that consider themselves "Christians" as they authorize mothers to sacrifice their offspring, authorize extortion of the innocent for living in their homes and moving in public is nauseating. The government angel professing his faith while condoning abortion and extortion.

So true. The scripture really nails us all. Romans 7:19 For the good that we would we do not. The evil that we would not that we do. If only the guys who govern the innocent would stop justifying the evil that they do.

“The guys who govern”

1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

[2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

[3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

[4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Daniel 10:13 KJV
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Ephesians 2:2 KJV
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

I can relate, a little bit. I don't have any family or old friens around. And even if it were the case - none of them are belivers - so.
And the comgregation, I go to - I also don't really fit in well.
But that's how it goes for a single middel aged man.
But maybe we are building a small community of guys with the same background. I hope, it's coming.

The good thing for those who truly know God; we do not need friends or a congregation. The man who knows God is founded in His devotion. I've realized how much needing someone, or things, gets in the way of contentment.

How do you see what's going on with the farmers in Germany?

Amen!
I am where God wants me to be,
And it’s got nothing to do with what is attached.

God usually does send back up ... that's always been my battleplan opener. so I pray that God will send you someone.

Pound to a penny it will be someone that really cheeses you off ... watch out for that.
Hmmmm, awesome advice Evmur

I don't care much about worldly things any more. But any form of REAL protest i think would be absolutely justyfied, in the world. But we will never have good things coming out of the world and the flesh and anger and frustration.
I just don't care a lot for anything anymore, besides my journey with Christ, since the majority did not topple over the satanic covid one world government.
It did a lot on the way of my conversion, I think.

I understand your conviction. I disagree with your lack of involvement with the world. I am convinced that it is our Christian duty to understand our role to show the lost our Christlike convictions.

I'm on the streets, evangelizing. For that I don't need to know, what corrupt politicians are doing. Because they are politicians and corrupt - I don't need to know specifics.
I tend to people in emergencies, that are in distress, disoriented or unable to take steps, when someone deceased. In oder to do that, I don't need to know, which team won, which election takes place, how the stock market is etc. etc.
I avoid anything that has commercials of any kind, I don't watch the news, I don't listen to the radio, I try to avoid the mainstream in any form - and I'm just fine.

Karlon, Totally understand! I'm on the same path these days. I will say that a great "bridge" for you while you are in the process of selecting a place is linking up with a preacher/pastor/Bible scholar through video/audio that you can watch every week in lieu of your in-person attendance until the Holy Spirit leads you to the right place. For me, I consider Dr. Charles Stanley as my pastor. He was in Georgia. I don't live in Georgia, but I watched him faithfully on a weekly basis for many years and regularly logged in to his website, InTouch Ministries. I purchased a lot of his books as well. Loved him so much. (He passed away a few days ago.) I pray your efforts will yield you a wonderful church where you can grow in Christ!
thanks. just getting this now. i have a list of preachers since 96" & Stanley is on there as well as Rogers, Youceff, Smith, Capps, Colsen Swindall, Prince, Jeremiah, Begg, Boyce & others. Stanley & Adrian Rogers, to me, are the best teacher-preachers in the past 60 + years. they are what i call "core teacher preachers"! thank you for your concern Quinn777. i certainly miss church.

Perhaps the greatest preacher/teacher of our time is Sinclair Ferguson.
