"Catfish" scammers

Turning this thread back to its original purpose, I have seen the banned scammer's username listed among the "CC Members Online" twice since the banning. Once yesterday, and once right now as I type, so maybe this fiasco is not over yet. God's will be done.

Example:
I was here once before under a similar name (I needed a break, don't ask...long story)
that name was slightly different than my current one (Godsgirl83)
When I left I asked for the account to be deleted.
Now when I try to search my old stuff by member name it show:



And when I do happen to scroll back and find my old post the name shows:

interestingly I see while I was away that someone created a profile simple named "Godsgirl" (that wasn't me btw)

It does seem odd that a woman would want to discuss her sexuality with men, and only privately at that, but nothing surprises me anymore. I have spent a lot of time on different social media sites over the years, and I think that I could honestly say that I have dealt with dozens and dozens of catfish accounts, and all sorts of other sinful behaviors. It kind of goes with the territory. I am just happy when I get the opportunity to minister to someone who is truly seeking to know Christ or to grow in their Christian walk. I haven't had too many of those opportunities, but the hope of the same is why I even bother with online sites to begin with.

And so in Grandma's honor/memory and in keeping with he theme of this thread, I do believe this is what dear Granny would say to he telemarketers and catfishers who pull their sob stories on her:

my husband and i are laughing our heads off! this is EXACTLY what it's like!

when our first grandchild was born, i told his parents unless he was in danger, i wasn't ever going to tell him no.
i said i had had more than 3 decades of telling kids no, and i was done with it. our daughter just smiled, but our son-in-law (the engineer) thought for a moment and replied, that sounds quite reasonable. lol

I always love your posts, Seoulsearch. You have interesting stories, and a great way of showing different perspectives which others (including myself) don't always see. Things are often not as black and white as some would believe. No apology needed on my account!

One of the reasons I haven't posted as much is because I'm at a point of retelling old stories and didn't feel there was a point in telling them anymore.

This is one of the best threads I've seen in the forum in a long time. It makes the site fun again!

What I like most is that this thread shows Christians really CAN fellowship in a way that uses MANY God-given talents at the same time, like education, compassion, Scriptural discussion, and even, gasp, humor. 😁

He did understand the times in which he lived, albeit through a secular mind. So he had no real answers. Too bad He never came to faith. Had he understood from God's point of view, he could have offered hope.
