I think you may need to converse with someone else about this. I work in simplistic and straight forward terms, and I try to avoid just skipping over certain areas. I'm not sure that is what you are looking for.

You need to reject Mohamed because his teachings are incompatible with the teachings of Christ. You need to elevate Christ above all men and accept him as God incarnate and the only way to salvation.

This is what got anything to do with converting to Christianity.

Hi I want to convert to Christianity but I do not know what to do or where to start from
I apologize for the others not letting you know what to do to get started...

Here's what to do first:

Romans 10:9-11

if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved.
For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.

You are confessing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior... if done with sincerity and honesty, you will become born again spiritually and be a new creation in Christ Jesus (see 2 Corinthians 5:17)

Jesus Christ will not disown you if you do not disown Him and as you believe and stand with Him He will prove Himself true to you in ways that only you know are real ... He is the one who decides who goes to Heaven and who goes to hell (see Matthew 10:28), so Jesus is the one guy you will want to pay attention to a stick with.

If your family disowns you, He will make a way for you to have friends and new family if you remember to not forsake the gathering of yourself with other believers. (find a group of Bible believers to have church or Bible study with... even if it's just online but in person is better)

Once you get started, come back and post questions you may have going forward...

You need to read the Christian Gospel and learn about Christ and his teachings so you can know him. Then you can accept and believe in him.

The gospel of Mark is a good place to start for unbelievers.

Congratulations. Now one more person has a "Repeat after me" prayer to simply parrot.

Hi Rubie and welcome to CC.

When I was being drawn to the Lord, I didn't know a thing about
Christianity. I had some wonderful people who helped out when I went to a church.

If you are being drawn by the Lord, you will have a sense that you're a sinner and that God is holy. God, out of His loving kindness draws us to Him so that we will repent of our sins and instead of continuing on living the way we were, we give our life to God and begin to serve Him for the rest of our life.

Going back to the why of it all when we read in Genesis we find that because of Adam and Eve's sin, we all fell away from God's holiness and we began to live our life of sin apart from Him.

So at birth, we already begin our life without God. THat's why Jesus said we must be born again....born from above or born of the Spirit. That new birth is something God does within us when we respond to the Gospel by faith.

The Gospel is that we're all sinners, we've all sinned. If you believe on the Lord Jesus you'll find that you'll repent of your sins. There are many scriptures that talk about what the Gospel is, but to get you started, we're all saved by God's grace.....His free gift of salvation that's unmerited, we don't work for it..........we receive it by faith in Jesus.

Jesus died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Jesus saves us from our sins that have separated us from the one and only Holy God.

When you read the old testament, you'll find that Jesus was prophesied as the Lamb that takes away the sins of the world. He's the sacrificial lamb that atones for sin .......He gave His life for us and when we believe in Him so that we won't perish, but we'll have eternal life.

So we are saved by God's grace of love that we didn't deserve. That shows how much He loves us. And God's grace comes upon us by faith, but believe that He is the Son of God and that He is God. Well that's enough to begin with. As you have questions, please feel free to post them to the group or you could always PM me as well.

The older testaments are the different covenants and history of the people God called out of the world to bring forth the Messiah/savior Jesus Christ into the world. Jesus is the Son of God through the Holy Spirit of God, and is Himself part of the Godhead, Who chose to take on flesh and walk this world to pay the sin debt for humanity. Welcome to CC and the family of God :)

If you click on the persons name it will give you a small drop down screen. I think it's the second on the left that says private message. If you click that, it takes you away from here and gives you a screen where you type in your message and hit send.

When I was first saved, we were told to read the book of John first. I think that was very helpful.

Please forgive us for the questions. It is VERY rare to have someone post here who is converting from Islam, even if you didn't really practice it, to Christianity.
Welcome!!! We are called to love you, and are excited to have a new sister in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The older testaments reveal through multiple prophesies God's plan for humanity, prophesies which were fulfilled by Jesus Christ. A handy little saying: the old is the new concealed, the new is the old revealed. All of Scripture is about Jesus Christ and our need of Him, for He is the light and life of men, and holds the keys to life and death, being the only One to overcome sin and death. If you are just starting out, don't try to force understanding on yourself, as it will come over time as you study God's Revealed written Word and are led by the Holy Spirit of God.

Mohamed is a false idol anyway. And no one here said you have to hate him, or anyone else..

I do not need to put hate on other people or other religions if I do not believe in Mohamed then I do not believe in him I do not need to hate him
