I
So when I see 'Christian', does that means the larger sphere of Christianity, or a group of specific interpretations? There's plenty of Catholic blood in this one.
Regardless, allow me to present myself, you can call me the Inceptor. I am a Canadian citizen reaching the final months of senior high who has just recently discovered the greater universe that surrounds him, an opening of mind if you will. I've never been to church, never read the bible, and my single mother has never approached the topic. Her employment is a dominant factor in her life.
Looking back a generation from her and I find that my closest relatives are deeply immersed in their catholic beliefs. I am agnostic by default I suppose, but I have always held deep respect for my grandparents' spirituality. Their happiness is quite obvious and it is beginning to dawn on me that there is great comfort in their world.
That's why, among other things, I am here; to learn and understand.
