Hi. I joined Christian Chat because I'm feeling so lonely. My husband and I separated nearly 2 months ago. I have great Christian girl friends who have been there for me & supported me, but they have their own families & can't be available all the time. The worst time of the day is the evenings when I have time to stop & think. It's easier when I'm busy & can distract myself. So here I am, hurt & lonely, but totally in love with God & confident in the future He has planned for me!

it is good you still have your faith in God. Its true God's plan is for good things to come out of anything the world may try and oppress you with. when you are crying, God is next to you, embracing you and crying with you. God weeps with those who sorrow and despair and tells us He will send us deliverance and lift us up to be Glorious before the Lord. Our life is God's gift to us. what we do with our lives are our gifts to God.

Welcome to CC Keze, I think withdrawal symptoms exist in most things we invest in emotionally, logically speaking we should still be able to independant though (not that it helps as a consolidator). I find the best way is to think what is the real purpose we have for our life since other sub-purposes can come and go, I understand trying to rationalize the hurtful experiences helps us to avoid them in future, but to some extent we need to accept vulnerability (risk, but with reason) in order build the relationships we have around us.

Thanks for the encouragement AnandaHya, it helped a lot. It is great comfort to know that God, the Creator of all heaven & earth, has 'compassion on His afflicted ones' & that He is crying with me. He knows how it feels to be rejected by those He loves. Thanks for the reminder! And thanks Thomas60 for the reminder that God's purpose for my life hasn't changed, even though it feels like the world beneath my feet has given way. This is exactly what I needed - encouragement & help to stay focused on Him & not on the waves around me.
