Hello Everyone! I'm Whitney, I am 20 years old, and I am here to make new friends and maybe even find a bible study buddy :) I'm really open minded and curious.
I don't have a specific church I go to or even denomination, right now I am just exploring my faith and finding what fits my beliefs best.

My Favorite Chapter is Psalms 126:1-6
Song of the going up. When the Lord made a change in Zion's fate, we were like men in a dream.
Then our mouths were full of laughing, and our tongues gave a glad cry; they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them.
The Lord has done great things for us; because of which we are glad.
Let our fate be changed, O Lord, like the streams in the South.
Those who put in seed with weeping will get in the grain with cries of joy.
Though a man may go out weeping, taking his vessel of seed with him; he will come again in joy, with the corded stems of grain in his arms.

Great to have you here, Whitney! Such a lovely name :) I'm sort of partial to Mathew 6:24 (Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.) and Romans 8:39 (neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.) I hope we can help you in your faith walk :)

Here’s a good one to know:

[34] But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sad'ducees, they came together.
[35] And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, to test him.
[36] "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
[37] And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
[38] This is the great and first commandment.
[39] And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
[40] On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets." Matt 22:34-40 RSV
