Hello. I'm new here, and I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Jack, I live in Florida, and I'm a non-denominational Christian. I was raised in a home around a Presbytyrian church that got taken over by someone with not so good intentions, and for a while, I became cynical, and bitter. After that, I associated with the Jehovah's Witnesses, and found a lot of value in some of their teachings, but it wasn't for me. I still thought I was the smartest person ever, that I knew everything, and doubted the existence of God because I was a foolish teenager.

Then, my house caught fire, and I saw the signs. I had been misusing my life, and yet God gave me a second chance, and mercy. After that, I couldn't go back to disbelief.

That's my story. Pleased to meet you all.

Hi jack it's c just thought I'd reply and say welcome and that's really cool also been through to much to doubt God he is very real and he is there for you always

I regret those years. I was stupid, and mad at the church, and took it out on my own relationship with God and the Son. I said things I regret deeply, and I hope the Almighty and Christ will forgive me for it. Once I discovered my faith, my life has become better than I could have imagined.

I still make mistakes. But I believe, now. I know the truth, that there is a God, and that he loves us. Still, I'm not perfect. I wish I could be as pure as Christ, or the disciples.

You're welcome here, Jack. And thank you for being so authentic with us and sharing your story. It's amazing the ways God works in our lives. How He "pulls us from the fire" as was almost the physical and spiritual image in your story. Truly incredible. Hallelujah :)
