If you really want a glimpse into what I've been through, check out my blog I made a while back. I don't update it anymore because it is essentially finished but you will get an idea of a real satanic attack.
Here

Anyway, once I experienced that, I came to Arizona where my family lives. I lived with my dad and brother for a while and ended up receiving even more attacks. It got to the point that I believed I was Jesus and that I was supposed to slit my wrists in the bathtub and bleed out in the water. The important thing was to not splash around as I was dying so as not to mess up the sacrifice.

Obviously that did not happen. I told my dad about the messages I was receiving and what was going on with me and he ended up committing me to a mental institute. I spent roughly a month there. It was very theraputic.

Once I was out, I went to live with my mom. I told her husband my story and he immediately said that I was under satanic attack. He urged me to delve more into the bible and begin to understand what everything is really about. So, I did.

I learned that baptism was a requirement and I aimed to do it as soon as possible. However, I still had a lot of sin in my life and did not feel as if I had repented enough according to Acts 2:38. Eventually, I realized that I had repented enough and I eagerly awaited the days to hear him say "Let's get you baptized". It never came.

I got the idea that I might bring it up so I did. He said "are you sure you're ready?" I said "Yeah I think so".

We took a camping trip and while on this trip, we went on a hike. We hiked down the face of this mountain to a stream at the bottom. He said "It's time". I started to have second thoughts. I didn't know he would just spring this on me. He replied with "Why tarriest thou? (acts 22:16)" So I went for it.

We said a prayer and addressed the beliefs required for the ritual and then I was fully immersed in the stream and pulled back up. I was a new creature in Christ. I spent the whole hike back up the mountain face reflecting on the experience with a smile on my face. I thought about God and how He must have been glorified in it.

Since then, I have read the entire bible and have tried to stay as sinless as possible (with slipups of course). I continue to study and learn. I look forward to learning from you and hopefully contributing something to the discussions.

Thanks for having me.

Thanks for being here! It sounds like you've been through a lot. Feel free to post anywhere you want, but be aware that the bible-discussion forum has a lot of error in it. If you have a question, you will probably get better answers if you post in "Miscellaneous" or "Young adults" or, honestly, even "Recipes" Only slightly kidding........;) Welcome! :)
