Kelsey! If your hearts desire is to be saved, then know that God knows your heart and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into a deeper relationship with God in Christ Jesus. If what you are doing is damaging to your spiritual growth, the Holy Spirit will tell you so. Listening to that still small voice is not easy (because it is mostly a reaccuring thought every time you find yourself in the same situation.) Obeying usually comes through being tired of the consequences that happen as a result of our failure to understand and give to God that what He desires: ourselves. When we truly understand that God wants us to love Him more than anything so that He can lead us into all that He has for us, then we willing allow the Holy Spirit to guide and instruct us in the truth to what it means to worship the Father through Jesus Christ in Spirit and in truth.
