Yep. Or for me, just employ as many senses as possible. Read it (seeing) write it (feeling) read it aloud (hearing) make hand gestures to go with it that makes you remember (feeling). I will also stick sticky notes in places I see often so I can read it many times a day. Songs are also a GREAT way to memorize (as Plimoth_Pligrim said). After that it, repeat. And repeat again.
