Thats amazing that you are searching Tinker1019! I hope you find some answers here. I just want to let you know that you may be looking for God but He is right there waiting eagerly for you. He created you & has a great plan for your life, and desperately wants a relationship with you. The bible tells us that if you seek God with all your heart you WILL find Him (Jeremiah 29:13)

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
You may already know all of this but just in case the Bible tells us we are all sinners (Romans 3:23).
Because we are sinners we all died physically and spiritually. (Romans 5:12)
Jesus tells us He is the way to the Father (God, the Father) (John 14:6), for in all History Jesus was the only Man without sin (II Corinthians 5:21; I Peter 3:18)
So all one has to do to find God is come to Him through His Son Jesus.
This you do first by confessing your sins and repenting of them (repent is to turn from them-Acts 3:19) and confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and rose from the dead on the thrid day, and thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9-10; I Corinthians 15:3-4)
