I'll be honest, recently I've been feeling a great burden, a desire to give bible studies, or to at least share the beauties of the Word with others. I am currently a young missionary in South America, but I need to do more, and I guess I can use the internet for something good. I'm a by-the-bible Christian, and I want to share with you the truth of God's wonderful love and how that helps us in the scary times we're living in, you can feel it worldwide, every day there is less hope and more fear. The Bible foretold this, and we don't have to be afraid, and we don't have to ignore it, there is a work to do for every person and it's outlined in the Bible. If anyone, really anyone, wants to know more or talk to me about any spiritual topic, I would be not only grateful but eager, because would be helping each other to be closer to God. Thank you and God bless !!

Hello Matthew! Welcome to our fellowship. We are fortunate to have another missionary in the field with us and look forward to hearing about some of your activities and interactions with your friends in Ecuador.

There are some very fine Christian friends you will soon be getting to know here at Christian Chat. Look through the forums to find a thread that interests you then join in on the conversation. You may also want to start your own thread perhaps by asking a question. Maybe some of the members in your congregation in Ecuador who know English may also want to join the discussions here at Christian Chat.

Why do you feel that you have to do more? Seems to me you have a lot on your plate already being a young missionary in South America. Helping each other to be closer to God is what happens here. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Which country? When I was much younger I was in Colombia as a Missionary, and later lived for a short while in both Quito and then Lima. In Colombia I was in the Department of Santander del Sur.

Oh thats awesome, Ive been wanting to visit Columbia, in Cundinamarca, near Bogota, I'm in Ecuador, two hours from Quito, around Santo Domingo

I really liked Ecuador. Enjoyed my stay there. I've been to Bogota many times. It was a one day drive by bus or car from where I lived which was near Barbosa in Santander del Sur, on the Panamerican Hwy.

Sometimes my friend you have to wait. And if you do, it would be well worth the wait. Knowing that it comes from God. Let and allow Him to lead and guide you into what He wants you to do. Praying for your safety also in South America!
