How do I get my profile picture to show up on threads?

Because seriously, guys, I've got a pretty awesome picture, and nobody gets to see it. How is that okay?

You don't. Profile pictures are only for the profile. Avatars are what you're looking for. Front page of the site is a line of blue words, one says Avatar.

Anyway, so I took a look at your profile picture. It had great promises of being awesome so I checked it out. Its interesting, to say the least.

Technical questions like this belong in the user-2-user tech support forum. Anyways, profile pictures don't show up in threads. Only your avatar does. Fortunately, you CAN use your profile pic as your avatar. Go to Settings tab up above, in list at left click on "edit avatar' and upload your pic, then click "save changes" afterward.. Hi, Laoshanlung. Yes, it is your avatar that shows up on your posts, not your profile picture. Another way to update (or create) an avatar is to click “settings” (upper right), “edit avatar” (lower left), “use custom avatar,” and “choose file.”
