My daughter took me to see Rob Thomas in concert a few years ago.
I think he is a fabulous artist/musical representative for his generation :D
I loved that CD with the posted song on it: Yourself or Someone Like You,
and played it a fair bit at work when I would put music on :)

He had a hit song with Santana quite some time ago also: Smooth (in 1999).
I think it kind of revitalized Santana's career and introduced a whole new
generation of potential fans to his soulfully meditative musical grooves.

Oh, my, how I love Santana as well :D I went through a spell a while back
of listening endlessly to various versions of Samba Pa Ti; I had about thirty
different version in a youtube list I created, and Smooth was in the mix too :D

I saw Santana in concert around this time ^ (mid seventies ;)) It was one of the
best concerts I have ever been to :D It was not my plan to go either, but it was
around my birthday and my brother had bought tickets but then he had to work
that night, so he gave the tickets to me as a birthday gift (y) (We are twins! :giggle:)

Counting Crows was in the opening line-up for Rob Thomas.
Ah, yes, August and Everything After was a great CD :D

Always loved this song, too ~
