i would say the best way not to be misled,
would be watch what you join even if its supposed to be christian based,
i believe Alister Crowley was originally from a christian or catholic based church at one point and made a perversion of it and himself,
and fraternity's well look up the origin of the word.
just stay with Christ and out of any church that doesn't really reflect on god and Jesus.
