New and kind of disappointed

Let me first say that I know that being told "there are people worse off than you" in general doesn't help.
A broken finger doesn't stop hurting just because the person next to you breaks his/her arm.

I didn't read the other thread, but it seems some of the problem is miscommunication.
Also, as stated by others, this IS the internet. People tend to get more ... eager (sometimes meaning trollish) when all they see are words on a screen, rather than a person.

If you need actual help with overcoming something, you need to see a person IRL.
I've been here before this site was a forum (only chat), and I'm still around because there are some wonderful people on here. Many trolls as well. ... but you have to learn either to ignore their opinions, or actually use the ignore feature of the site. Then you can enjoy the good, loving mature people that are here.

Also, Jesus is found in the bible, not in arguments and people stating opinions, which is, I daresay, 95% of what any internet forum is all about.

What's with you screen-shoting your reputation points/comments? You're just as prideful as the rest of us. But we're willing to admit it.

I think it is Laura's way of being truly grateful.

That's just a way to irritate people and it seems to be working. We can use PM to thank people for reps and not derail a thread by showing off screenshots of reps.

She does it all the time. Just showing off, IMO. No one else here takes screenshots of their reps and shows them off publicly in the forums. Whenever I get a rep, I PM the person to thank them, unless I don't know who it came from. Then I post a thank you on the forum.

If anyone, you should be the one showing off rep points blue lol! You're repowerful.

Nah, no reason to show them off. I'm not like LC, who consistently displays her rep comments for all to see.. Like Tintin said, that's just being prideful. I don't know who she thinks she's impressing, but whatever floats her ship.. lol

Unfortunately no.

So I will step into the rabbit hole and say....

I don't thank people when they rep my words because if there is any value in them, it's because God put it there.....me, I normally say really mean and sarcastic things most days.

However, occasionally I get over myself and God places in my heart and mind words that help instead of hurt others.

So the rep should belong to God and I thank God that I wasn't a total fool to speak.

I stop worrying about appearing "holier than thou" for Jesus tells us we can build our faith by learning humbleness. He says when we do everything right and are a perfect servant,sinless even...we don't deserve praise. Instead we should say "God, I am an unprofitable servant having only done what was expected."

Most days I fall upon His grace and mercy because I can't even say that.

Of ME? At least I don't screenshot my reps all over the place like she does on a daily basis. Yesterday I found one where she posted her entire rep comments page. :/
