I didn't know this forum existed until yesterday. I am not an avid church goer and haven't been in years. However, I always believed God was there and prayed to him in times of need.

I have had a rough year especially the last few weeks. I have been praying a lot recently, asking God for help. I am an introvert and don't socialize with many people. I have been struggling even more so lately. I have very trusted few friends or family. I would love to meet new people here and get to know them. I would want to make a couple good trusted friends here.

I am also seeking God and looking for guidance from him to help me pull myself up and out of this despair that I have been struggling with for some time now. I would be grateful for any prayers for me and my family. Feel free to private message me.

Dont worry. All is good!
You could get a nice bicycle and ride it through the countryside! Pedal down to the beach and look at the sea. :) Lots of fun to be had while cycling!

I wish and dream. Not to be negative. I live in a city that's not safe to ride a bike around. The beach is too far for me to drive to often. The bike I do have needs repair and sitting on flats. I usually stayed holed up in my home which is not good either. Lol

Umm. Never really lived in a city apart from a couple of miles out from a city for a whole week. Here we are semi rural as we are only 7 miles from a large town and two miles from a bus stop or village and only a mile away from a street lamp. We do have about 10-12 houses here within about half a square mile... Not really counted them. Maybe 15! Not sure.
You must know lots of people as quite a few people live in cities these days.

It's OK if you are not an avid church goer as there are many members here that don't go to church. This is a great site for meeting good Christian people that you can possibly become friends with. Also, there are many of us that suffer from depression so please know that you're not alone in this. I have said a prayer for God to help you in this area and also to steer the right people your way that could make a tremendous positive difference in your quality of life and your spiritual walk. Glad to have you as part of our family. Welcome to CC.

Going to church would probably be a good idea.

I pray constantly. I don't believe that going to church is mandatory to have a relationship with God. Some are not able to attend for various reasons. I don't know many people living in the city. I don't even know my neighbors. It's easy to blend in and stay to yourself. Thanks for the welcome.

It's good that you decided to visit this site. Nothing will bring joy or help you with your troubles like a strong and growing relationship with Jesus, and that is something I hope you can experience here.

Anyone else want to chat? Anyone from US? I'm better at talking privately than in forums. I am an introvert and makes it hard for me to conversate with people. Besides, I am exhausted and tired today. I haven't had much sleep. :)
