why do you bilieve?

I believe in God because I have no doubt in my mind that a higher power exist. when I look around me there is so much goodness to be seen it is so evident that God does exist that there is no reason for me not to believe in him, I have tried him I called on him he answered fed me like the ravens fed my soul with love, fed me with peace .I believe in God because HE is GREAT , he is a strong and loving father through this belief I know that I am saved because of jesus Christ.i it is said that everyone is going to have a different reason for believing in God ,believing in God is a choice tat people makes at some point, so what is your choice and why do you believe?

Hey friend, I believe because He's always been there, even when I thought He wasn't, He was. I always called when I wanted Him though, but like a true friend and Father, He came when I needed Him. He's always watching sis, always.

Amen to that. I believe because the more I look at my life, the more I see that without God I would be in the darkest of darkest places. I would be lost without Him.

Welcome, and I believe because He saved me and picked me up the second I realized that I wasn't capable of doing so myself, at all. He CHAGED me and the way I think, act, see, walk, speak, and love. I believe because He lives in me and is the only way I am capable of life at all.

I do not believe and have found no satisfactory reason to do so. It is the precise opposite of what you said when you claimed to believe in god because you claimed that " there is no reason for me not to believe in him". That is a logical fallacy. One withholds belief until one is given satisfactory reason to believe. As for believing in god because of all the good in the world; that is also fallacious. We cannot just pick the good things and say, 'there is proof of god'. There is also a lot of evil. Evil which is not caused by our own freewill; earthquakes, bone cancer, and madness to name but a few. Believe whatever you wish, but know that you may have to revise your views later on.

I believed because I was somewhat a satanist who denied the existence of god and He mercifully allow me to perceive He is real (yet I don´t know how distant I am -or Him- to hear His personal voice).

Id go to hell if I didn't believe..... Seems like the greater alternative to me.
