Really just trying to warn you that you are doing something that warrants condemnation according to the word.

No judgment here; especially if my warning leads you to repent.
Properly harmonizing scripture with scripture is not taking away from God's word, so that warning does not apply to me. Ever stop and consider that it just might be you who needs to repent and believe the gospel?

I personally believe, there's enough evidence, to give Credence, to why the Apostle's Water Baptized in Jesus Name. And to really Believe Jesus, Himself, Commanded it. Now, this has nothing to do with God, being, Who God is, Father-WORD-Holy Spirit. I just really believe Jesus Commanded to Water Baptize in His Name and it goes back to John Chapter 3.
I, too, believe Jesus commanded it but come to that conclusion differently.

Consider, those who submitted to baptism in the gospels did so because they believed John's message of a coming messiah, they had no idea Jesus would die, and resurrect. Whereas, those who believed in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection were instructed to obey the NT command to be baptized in His name in association with His death, burial and resurrection.

As previously mentioned, Jesus said that repentance and remission of sin (connected to water baptism) would be preached in His name in all nations beginning in Jerusalem. The first instance of the need for everyone to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ is recorded in Acts 2:38, and later confirmed in Acts 8, 10, 19, and 22.

Not removed, just put in it's proper place,
It is in its proper place as it is rendered in the kjv:

Act 2:38, Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39, For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

You have taken away from God's word and seem to believe that it is the harmonizing of scripture.

I believed the gospel of 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 long before I was baptized in Jesus' Name.

Being baptized thus did not make me lose my salvation.

As a matter of fact, it provided for an unshakable assurance of salvation within my life;

And I believe that it was the key to my obtaining the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

I did have the Holy Ghost before I was baptized; but God gave me the Holy Ghost when He did because He knew that I wouldn't refuse baptism when it would be offered to me. God does not see things as we do; from the perspective of time. He is in the blimp above the parade; He sees time as one event. So, He saw me receiving baptism in Jesus' Name at one point in my life and decided to give me the Holy Spirit at another point previous to that.

Please explain to me what YOU believe the gospel IS and also what YOU believe it means to BELIEVE the gospel.

Don't be ridiculous. I have been baptized more than once.

Apparent contradiction, reconciled.
and yet I for one do not believe that whatsoever

one untruth does not get corrected by yet another untruth

maybe you need more washing done

The gospel is what is written in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; to believe it is to believe what is written in verses 3-4.

Additionally, we identify with Christ in what He did for us (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) in His death, burial, and resurrection, when we are baptized in His Name. And this seals our faith; as it is a confession of Jesus before men (Matthew 10:32, Luke 12:8). See also Romans 4:11.

I, having been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, do also hold to an orthodox view of the Trinity.

Some may disagree with that assessment.

Those who do have gone to the opposite extreme to the point of being even tritheistic in their theology.

My emphasis on the Oneness of the Lord in the Trinity is intended to combat the tritheism that has infiltrated the minds of some who call themselves "Trinitarian".
Splashing in water does not wash away sins.

Here it is again and yes I am a woman and apparently light years ahead of your scrambled eggs persuasions. Baptized INTO Jesus means a spiritual baptism. No one who has ANY understanding would possibly think water is involved.

I know why water regeneration people insist otherwise though. If they would admit their error, what would follow, would be a catastrophic domino effect for quite a few other beliefs including the Moses in the Ark fantasy.

26For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3

We are sons/daughters of Christ through FAITH. Not baptism

The reference to baptism in v 27 is a METAPHOR. There is no water. You do not start your journey with water. You start it with FAITH and continue with FAITH for the rest of your sojourn on this planet.

V 28 deals with the fact that God does not place more value on men than on women as certain people like to do. Slaves are of the same value as everyone who comes to Christ in FAITH and is SPIRITUALLY BAPTIZED into Christ and identify with Him.

We are heirs according to the promises first told to Abraham, whose faith was also recognized as RIGHTEOUSNESS. NO water at all. They had to dig wells for water. There is nothing about Abraham being thrown down a well to have his sins forgiven. RIGHTEOUSNESS comes through faith. FAITH

I pray that you will convict @Niki7 to the core, Lord, in Jesus' Name.
How does it feel knowing those prayers against me and against others here will bear NO fruit?

I never say shame on you because I think it is childish and an emotional reaction when someone is gob smacked by something someone says

However, it is actually an expression that suits you to a T

SHAME ON YOU

We read in God's Holy Word that [[WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN OF THE SPIRIT]]
We NEVER READ ((we must be Water Baptized))

Since Water Baptism [[IS NOT]] an actual and literal requirement for Salvation, then you Rebuking people, is completely ASS BACKWARDS!!

So the gospel to YOU is believe that the death, burial and resurrection of Christ "happened" + trust in water baptism using the specific formula "in Jesus name" for salvation. That's not it.

The gospel is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16) To "believe" the gospel is to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-SUFFICIENT means of our salvation.

The very first mention of baptism in scripture is where JOhn baptizes in the Jordan river...in water.

It is a specific rule of hermeneutics (called the law of first mention) that the mention of that word ever afterward is the same as the first mention of the word; unless it is specifically specified otherwise.

So, when scripture speaks of baptism, it is speaking of water baptism unless it specifically mentions that it is speaking of Spirit-baptism.

And as for your first statement, which I enlarged above, that is contradicted by Acts 22:16.

I rebuked no one. It was a prayer. And if I am wrong to pray it, the Lord won't answer in the affirmative.
