Interesting. Jacob knows it is the number one theological reason people get
banned, yet he persists, but you will say it was someone else's fault?
.:oops::rolleyes:(n):rolleyes::oops:
i do not see it the same way, some things Jacobs has it right but some not ( like everyone else?) I see a difference in his thinking, he wants to learn, If people shut him down, he will not. It is easy to ban someone but what of they change their minds?, sometimes it takes time, the info has to be processed.

I am a Christian. I do not follow Christianity. This means that I accept the Bible but I do not accept Christian doctrines that are not found in the Bible.

NASB20

Christian
Acts 26:28 NASB20 - Agrippa [replied] to Paul, "In a short [time] you [are going to] persuade me to make a Christian [of myself.]"
1 Peter 4:16 NASB20 - but if [anyone suffers] as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name.

Christians
Acts 11:26 NASB20 - and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And for an entire year they met with the church and taught considerable numbers of people; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

I am open to discussion of matters of this concern. If you think that I am out to lunch let me know. Otherwise I would just say I am a Christian and an adherent of Christianity.
I have a feeling you mean you do not accept christians ... that is a bad place to be

examine your 1st 2 statements deep in thought! they don't make sense. that's like a guy who says, "i am a drummer but i don't play the drums"! ONLY people who believe in God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit, thinking, speaking & acting like Jesus taught, are Christians. read Romans 12:2- ".......be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind......". you sound like a "burger king" Christian which means "have it your way". NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, NEVER DID HAPPEN & NEVER WILL HAPPEN!!! another issue: atheists read the Bible & wonder why they can't understand it. the Bible is a blessing to those who believe & a curse to those who don't believe! they will understand some of it but not all of it because they don't believe in God & don't have the Holy Spirit's assistance in helping them to understand.

I agree @ThyKingdomComeSoon Anyone who expresses an interest in learning deserves to be patiently taught, especially since Jacob himself admits to being diagnosed with possible schizophrenia and/or a high-functioning autism. Press on! IMG_5764.gif

I don't know when Genesis was written.
Hello Jacob, below is a link to a bible tool that situates each bible book events in chronological order as an example for genesis;

https://biblehub.com/timeline/genesis/1.htm

you can change the book of interest to get a new timeling by pressing the right arrow in blue next to GENESIS. the next one would be exodus, it is a good tool to place events taking place in the bible in the correct timeline, it helps a lot.

Blessings.

The fact is you do not accept Christian doctrines that are indeed found in the bible. Your thought process is more aligned with agnostic behavior rather than Christian.

Funny. I wonder what you base this on. Wishful thinking?

Anyone who expresses an interest in learning deserves to be patiently taught,
And where have you been? He does not believe the new covenant extends beyond Israel, he does not believe Jesus is God, he contradicts himself often, says he has no opinion but only believes Scripture when he rejects what Scripture explicitly says. Not once, not twice, but again and again. I do not see an interest in learning. He says he lacks nothing. There is no room for learning with such a mind set.

especially since Jacob himself admits to being diagnosed with possible schizophrenia and/or a high-functioning autism.
What diagnosis? People's opinions which he does not accept?

I have been told that I have schizophrenia, but I don't believe it. My Rabbi said that he thinks I have a high functioning autism. But I don't believe that either.

It would be better said that those claiming to be Christians that practice things not taught in God's Word... are not actually Christians.
Welcome to CC...

What, in your view, makes a person a Christian in the first place?

well i mean that leaves me with only a couple possible analyses:
  1. you don't believe the Bible
  2. you don't understand the Bible
i invite you to browse the omnibus "Christ is God" thread. at least get a picture of the scope of how many passages show He is God, because it really is not just a handful of disputable texts, and if you take the time to go dig, you will find that almost all the ones you think are disputable really aren't.

CHRIST IS GOD

it is for people like you and people like the others in this thread trying to reason with you that i made that thread, to collect in one place a repository of information in one place.

thank you @Magenta sis for so often using it and sharing it as intended :love:
You are welcome, brother post! That thread is a wonderful resource .:D Thank you for creating it .:)

When The Truth is answered with, "I don't know what you mean," is this an example of "dull of hearing"?

Maybe this will help.

Matthew 23:8 NASB20 - "But as for you, do not be called Rabbi; for [only] One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers [and sisters.]
Have no idea what you mean. This has nothing whatsoever to do with the Christian church and limited structure

Luke 16:16
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it

The teachings of Jesus Christ are applicable to us today to those that accepts what the Lord has to say!

1 Timothy 6:3-5
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Meanwhile, Jacob speaks of his rabbi. And he does not mean Jesus.
Yep, Jesus is the only One that should be called Rabbi, Pastor, Teacher, High Priest

Some church leaders get highly upset if one doesn't address them by their preferred moniker :rolleyes:

just last night i picked up on a rythmn you had going by the similar answer you provided to many questions. and i even said it reminded me of AI.

Brother Jacob,
I don't see what your Rabbi said as being impossible. And it only means you are that much more uniquely made by God. but my life, work, even things i get caught up doing, all involve unique people like yourself. i would bet you once you get something in your mind as absolute, it will take something spectacular for that idea to be changed. And i think and believe this is well demonstrated throughout this Thread.

i have worked with great minds that belonged to people in the fields of Science, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Metallurgy, etc. All super focused and the best at their positions. but when i merged them together to work with a 90 degree Right Angle of the Sine Side of the Triangle. some struggled because it merged the mathematical formulas they were used to and combined them with mathematical formulas that now included sine, cosine, tangent, compound fractures, based off the Right Angle the 90 degree Triangle. none of them arrived at the same hypothesis when they did their mathematics.

and it's not because you cannot introduce new mathematical formula, usage of timing and degree and compounded angles all based off one origin point. it's because how the minds of each member was structured. we got there and they finally agreed because when done correctly, Mathematics, is as truthful as it gets. and they were never opposed to merging formulas to begin with. they just did not know where to start at in the process of solving the formula. that is what i found interesting. and maybe in your thinking that Jesus is not God, it's more of a matter, of where to start in the process of proving He is God?

The Lord gave me similar thoughts. I just couldn’t verbalize it like you just did. :)
