Please pray for me. I suffer from depression/anxiety and OCD. I have chronic doubts about my salvation and fear ending up in the lake of fire. I'm depending on Jesus to save me from that but I still fear it. I don't want to be one of those people that thinks they're saved but they're not. :( I'm suicidal and I hate myself and my life. Please pray that God would have mercy on me.

Sister I've been there too, and all you can do is just give it to Him. Give yourself to Him as fully as you can and talk to Him about it, and go as deep as there is. Keep praying and never stop. You are here for a reason, we are all here for His reason, but know you are loved and your Father is there for you. I will pray as well and may His peace fill you and give you clear purpose like never before. He can help this I know He can, and I am here anytime you need to chat, and I'm sure there are many others as well willing to do the same thing. We love you sister, and He is the answer.

Hello Staci,

I'm sorry you are hurting. There is One, and only one, that knows exactly how much you hurt and exactly how you feel. He knows you intimately...everything about you. He died that you may have life eternal. He does not want you to live in fear, which is why he said, "fear not," more than anything else. He wants you to have an "abundant life" and a life full of peace, His Peace; a Peace that passes all understanding.

This Peace is there for you at all times. It is with you now. It comes from God's Spirit that lives in you as his child. Since you accepted Jesus as your Savior there is nothing that can change that. Nothing you do can change that. You are his eternally. Do not think that the dark feelings and thoughts you are having means you are not His, for this would only be a lie.

When you have a dark thought immediately cast it out in Jesus' name. Say, "I cast you out dark thought, in Jesus' name." Then, immediately, start thanking God for all the blessings you can think of. This will get your mind on God and what good things He has done for you. And while you're talking to him why not ask him, "Father, are you there?." Hear him say, "Yes. I am here, Staci." For he is! Ask him, "Do you love me, Father?" Hear him say, "Yes, Staci. I love you." For he does! As him, "Father, will you ever leave me?" Hear him say, "No. Never!" For he never will!

These are promises that God has given those, like you, Staci, who believe on his son Jesus. Those promises will never change. They are forever. All the Lord requires you to do to receive all his promises is as easy and as simple as something can possibly be for a human being, and that to simply "believe it." Many people struggle with this concept, thinking they must "do" something to earn it. This is another lie. Don't believe it.

When you sin and you feel bad about it, ask him, "Father, forgive me of my sins." And he will. For he does!

Don't hate your life. God loves you so much he put you on this specific path, a path like none other, to fulfill what he will do in you in your life. It is the path you need, the path that will bring you closer to Him through you life-walk. Don't throw this unique gift, that God has given, you away. Life is always in flux, always changing. Tomorrow may be a better day, or it may not. No one knows what tomorrow will bring. The only way to find out what's going to happen is to stick around to find out. You may meet the mate you will spend the rest of your life with. The one you may create children with. The one you grow old with. Or, God may have a different path for you. We don't know yet, for hasn't happened.

So remember, don't think on dark things but think on the good things God has done for you and STAND on his promises. They are a firm foundation to build your life on.

"Heavenly Father, I lift Staci up to you. I hold her high in your presence. She is beautiful in your site. She is radiant to you. She is absolutely and totally the way you made her. The life she is in is from you. Father, I ask that Staci will see herself the way You see her. I pray she will never see herself any other way. I pray that this understanding from you will fill her with the confidence and boldness she needs to rebuke the evil one and all his lies. Help her Oh Lord to walk in your light where there is no darkness. Father, we thank you for all you have done for us, Your children, what you are doing, and what you are going to do. You are the Mighty One, the Everlasting, the Prince of Peace, all things are under your feet. Father, help Staci to understand how precious she is to you. Help her to desire not to take her life but to give it over to you, completely, trusting you to save her everyday. We love you Father. You are Good. You are the only Good we have, and it is enough! Yea, more than enough, an abundance of Life, Love, and Saving Grace.

Thank you Father for hearing our prayers. I humbly ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."

God bless you young lady. Get God's Word by reading or listening to the bible. Get a study bible if you can, if your going to read it. Start by reading what Christ spoke. Stay in the New Testament for the most part until you feel confident in your walk with the Lord. I'm root'n for you kid. Keep your chin up and face life. The Lord is with you, as close as your breath!

Your brother in the Lord,
Joseph

Father,

guard this child of Yours, let her remember that Your blood is NOT the blood of goats and bulls that can only partially cover sin. When you hung on the cross for us, You did a Perfect and Complete Work. That You redeemed us from our sins, ONCE AND FOR ALL!

LORD, let her remember that when You cried "It is Finished!", You meant that her sins were also finished on the cross for Your sake. Protect her mind, Father, that she will remember Your goodness and the mercy You have shown her all her life, that without You she would still be lost to the world.

Keep her close in Your Word, LORD, that she may see in Your Word Your loving kindness and beautiful grace. Instil in her wisdom that she may know Your Word to be the only Truth.

I pray this in the name of our Saviour and Restorer Jesus Christ,

Amen

You said "I'm depending on Jesus to save me". Beautiful faith filled words.

He heard your thoughts, and will prove HIS perfect love to you. His love is unconditional. It is full of mercy and desires your peace and joy. His love will move mountains just for you. His love gave up His life for your eternal security.

I am so sorry Anna, I have been in that darkness, I know how you feel.

A couple of thoughts:
Joshua 1:9
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Matthew 5:3
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven"

I am praying for you.

Father GOD,

I lift Anna to You today, that You will restore her mind and guard her thoughts. Lift her eyes to Your cross, LORD, that she will remind herself what a wonderful Work You have done for us. Shower her with blessing that she may know that in You there in no more condemnation, that the blood of Christ has washed us forever clean.

Feed her with Your Word, so that she may find encouragement to walk with You, that she may come to know You in intimacy and truth.

in Jesus name,
Amen
