My heart goes out to you. I wish I had some good advice that has not already been stated. But know you are being supported here by many who are keeping you in prayer. In the spiritual, you have an army behind you. Go will somehow turn what was meant for bad into something good.

;)

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds...For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
2nd Cor 10:4, 12 - KJV

That is the worst part. The isolation. I am so ashamed. I am so alone. Thank you so much for your prayers and advice. I will truly take it to heart.
You really are not alone, when you go to bed turn off all the lights, shut yourself away, snuggle down, and just keep saying His name "Jesus", keep repeating it.
God bless.

The old Indian story comes to mind

A pastor decided to visit an old Indian that lived alone in a cabin.

He had gotten gloriously converted, born again and set free in his church about a week back.

Upon his arrival the Indian ran outside to hug the man of God and invite him in.

The pastor was happy to see him so on fire for God. He asked him how he was getting along.

The Indian told him " I see two dogs fighting inside me. A good one that is white and a bad one that is black.

The pastor asked " which one is winning?"

He replied"which ever one I feed the most"

Input,input,input.......feed,feed,feed

Move forward, throw reverse and neutral away....youWILL WIN

I am addicted to drugs. This is so painful for me. I never thought at 36 something like this would happen to me. I'm trying to get off drugs right now. I'm slowly tapering off without a doctor. I'm in a profession that is not appropriate for someone doing drugs.
I am addicted to prescription painkillers that I was prescribed after surgery. It's an old story. I ask; I Plead for your prayers to help me through the weekend so I can put this behind me once and for all.

I have suffered from addiction in the past, but thanks be to God, i'm free now. Will pray for you to be released and empowered by Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Blessings :)

And for peace, thanks for sharing :D

I hope this is appropriate to reference Celebrate Recovery but here goes. My intention is only to share something that truely helped me in my struggle with addiction. I have been attending Celebrate Recovery at a local church for about 8 months now as well as another 12 step program. CR has been a true blessing for me, sort of killiing two birds with one stone. Check it out. I was told there is 18000 groups in churches throughout the US. I am not a member of that particular church as many aren't but are very much welcomed. Give it a go. . .
