If you truly feel an accountability partner will help you overcome what you are going through ll be willing to help. As the body of Christ we are a family & are to help eachother whenever it's needed.

If anyone would like to be my accountability partner that would be appreciated. My accountability partner isn't available and am not sure when he will be as he has not replied.

No details are given, I fight for purity and will not allow roaming eyes to keep me from seeing God.

Sincerely

Josiah

Willie knows God very well. He is also very knowlegeable on the subject of porn. Stop reading books that suggest getting an accountability partner. By the time you've viewed porn, then the accountability is a moot point. You can't be accountable AFTER you've done it. Willie knows what he's talking about and has recommended this book to countless others here who struggle with porn.

If he feel an accountability partner will help him overcome what he's going through let him have one if a person is willing. That's also nice of you to give willie multiple praises you forgot to also mention about how he spoke down to users in the past

That would be fantastic.. I'm doing what's advised in two books, both best sellers and am seeing God do amazing things with my freedom. I am more empowered than ever before. I want to be what God has called me to be, to pure. Being good looking has little to do with it but it's makes life difficult sometimes. I am free from porn I just want to stay pure and accountable. (Glancing and beautiful women on the street must stop) I know it sounds little but these little "sins" are things I must stop.

All you really need to do, Josh, is simply ask for feedback from the people who have read (and applied) Eyes of Honor to see if you think it might be worth looking into.

It matters little what is written in a book if there are not also lots of people declaring that book is working for them.

Hi Lady Blue,

I've read a lot of your posts and am thankful for you and the help you provide so many, I've even liked many of your posts. You are a true woman of God.

I am not not here to bash Jo"Willie T" somehow he has made this post about himself which shows a lack of love, look throughout the post. I'm the one asking for help that is prescribed by pastors who have helped thousands if not tens of thousands to freedom from lust. If Jon wanted to help he would have mentioned the book I should read months ago and posted a reply directed toward my need not his own pride or want for approval.

Once again we continue to discuss Jon when this post has nothing to do with him.

See? You still have no idea what you are trying to defend. Who do you think Jon is? A suggestion: Do some research and searching (with the provided application) on this site.

As long as you're aware it is a process and wont happen quickly. As the scriptures says we are to renew our minds. There will always be temptations but as the lord said he will not let you be tempted more than you can bare & will provide a way out so you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 )

This is called "Bouncing" your eyes..... and is just one of the many foolish and trendy "cures" so many authors sell you.

Well, if you're content to read the books you already have, then why add the book Willie recommended, to your collection? I know nothing about porn addiction, except that it must be a very tough habit to break. You may want to do some research for yourself on just how many people are actually helped by having an accountability partner. To be fair, until today I haven't seen you post a thread about your porn problem or the need for an accountability partner. So how could Willie have recommended it months ago, when he hasn't been aware of your problem until today?

I think your best accountability partner would be GOD. Not a person who isn't always available when you need them. Like I said before, God is ALWAYS there, no matter what time of day or night. :)

Thank you Jon,

I will look into that book, I really appreciate that. I mean it. I can understand why you would feel like having an accountability partner isn't helpful however people are different and may not be as half hearted as you think.

I apologise for for my words if they have hurt you, I just felt as though you weren't being helpful. I understand now, thank you.

Yes, many men equate "renewing your mind" with training your body to react differently. That is not what "renewing your mind" is, at all.

Yes, but beautiful women are everywhere, and glancing at them is virtually impossible.. And maybe you could explain a bit more, on why you need an accountability partner, if you've been "set free" from porn? I don't understand that comment entirely.. lol... I don't have any sex addictions, but when I see a hot guy, I DO go "dang he's cute". lol.. So theres nothing wrong with looking, it's the ACTING on it you gotta watch out for.

Thank you Willie T,

I will have a loot at the book however I won't disqualify books that have helped thousands of people. They didn't advise to look at women lustfully on the street either. I am thankful for your information regarding Eyes of Honor?

I'm still not Jon. (He's bald... I'm not. LOL) And you really would have a hard time hurting me with words. I have taught this stuff to deniers, disillusionists, and dreamers for well over two decades. And I also apologize if I was too sharp. It's just that I probably have close to a hundred posts on this forum, alone, concerning this, and no one ever seems to avail themselves of the SEARCH feature built into the forum. I have learened many, many years ago that Accountability Partners are a hopeless dream.

I completely understand what you're saying, however Paul says there shouldn't be even a hint of sexual immorality in the church (people of God), the King Jesus the Christ says that the pure in heart will see God and again if anyone looks at a woman with lust in his heart he has committed adultery. I am not a lascivious man looking at every women that crosses my path but I do know when I am closer to God that I don't look at women with the wrong motives (undressing with eyes). I know purity because I am pure when I closest to the Lord Jesus.

accountability is just that, somebody who wants this for you and prays for you hoping the best while encouraging. In a world where men talk and ogle over women together whistling at them and treating them as objects God is calling men to encourage one another in Holiness and godliness. Yes, Paul said this so why aren't more men doing it? Because we need more Godly men.

Dealing with any addictions whether it be smoking, drinking or in your case pornography it will take time. God will help you overcome it as long as your fully submitted to him & willing to change. Unfortanely there are people even in the body of Christ who will just refer things opposed to personally getting involved to help another soul if it's requested.
