hello everyone. i am requesting prayer for 4 of my sunday school children; Selene,Nikita,Stephon and Kevin. their story is so sad. i met them about 3 years ago when we decided to start a sunday school under another sister's house. they were very poor and had been going through a lot. the father was in prison at the time, for molesting the older girl (she's only 13 now). a few months ago the social ppl came and took them away to an orphanage because their mom was not taking care of them.
a couple of weeks ago, the mom got really sick. then she died. it was now discovered that the mom died of AIDS. it is said that she contracted HIV since the first child and therefore there is a possibility that the children also have HIV. but i dont believe the children have the virus.
they have been through so much. They must feel so confused and alone.i would like you to pray that God touches them, speaks to their heart,heal and comfort them. I want to pray that these children come to know Jesus as their saviour. these children dont have a father in their life but Jesus is father to the fatherless. my hope is that God use the children for His honour and glory and that they become a testimony for Him.

Mercy, dear Jesus--we cry to You for mercy! Please, Abba, have mercy on these little ones. My heart is heavy for them, yet I believe You love them and will be their Father. May they not inherit HIV from their mommy, but rather may they inherit the Kingdom of Your Son.
Please protect their minds, hearts, and bodies in Jesus. I cry to You for these children. Please place them together in a home with loving parents who know and follow You. Only You are able to accomplish this, Lord God.I ask that You do this to show these precious ones how much You care for them. Please manifest Your Son to these children. May their names be written in The Book of Life. Bring a great testimony out of so much tragedy, to the praise of Your glory, in Jesus' Name.Amen--let it be so!

My heart was moved as I read the post. Truly, God is a father to the fatherless. I am keeping these four kids in prayer. Thanks for posting the prayer request. I appreciate it.

Father take these childrens lives and place them in a loving place, where they can know you more.
Lay your hands on them, give them the peace, hope, love and joy, found in a life full of Jesus!

Praying for these poor children that the Spirit will send love and encouragement to them. Also for Christian foster parents to take them home :)

Father of love, mercy and grace, You have said if the orphan cries out to you you will hear because you are a father to the fatherless. LORD our heart breaks for these children so how much more does yours? Please protect the hearts, minds and bodies of these children. Let what they have learned of you so far be a comfort and strength to them. LORD, let them be but into one house with Christian people to look after them and show them the love they have not known. LORD I pray you lift up this 13 year old girl like Esther who was an orphan. Let her move past all that has been done to her and all she has seen. Let her heart not become hard, but help her move through life in your grace and mercy. Father I pray that you surround each of them with your shield and guard the path that each take for the rest of their lifes. May each of them become a testimony to your love, grace, mercy and that with you we can overcome anything. In Yeshua’s Holy name I pray amen.

Praying in agreement with all here in Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh.
These precious children will remain in my daily prayers in Jesus.
