Most of you know that I have Cerebral Palsy. Well I also multiple other health conditions that are not part of the C. P. One of those conditions is called Spastic Diplegia. Commonly known in the medical world as SD. It's really just big words that means literally "no bones". You see, on top of having a central nervous system, brain disorder (Cerebral Palsy), I was also born without my pelvis and hip bones of any kind. I was completely devoid of any 'mid-bofy bones' except ribs at all. I have all my other bones though. The doctors have no explanation for this except they think my mama was too small to carry me inside which was why I was small because I weight just 2lbs. 9oz. and was just 12in long when I was born.
I know full well that I am alive because God has a reason for me to be here. Well all these conditions cause me to be overweight no matter how I watch my deit, because I can't really get much physical activity because I spend most of my time sitting in a wheelchair. (Thank heavens it's a manual one) Recently though I have begun walking again in physical thereapy. My Doctors want me to have either lap band, or gastric bypass surgery to loose weight even though I don't even reach 212lbs. According to them it's because I'm only 4 feet tall. Though each time I pray on the matter God says not to do this...not to mention people have died from both operations.
Today though I found a machine called the AB ROLLER EVOLUTION (title of post) it was reasonably priced just $29.99 and I am actually able to use it. While I can't do all the warm up exercises I can do some of them. I can't do all the actuall work out routine I can do the majority of them. Could all of you please pray with me that this device will help me to not just lose weight but build muscle tone, and give me energy... and hopefully change my life forever. Please keep in mind that I am disabled so I will have to modify the exercise routine based on that fact. I will post a blog and keep you informed... thank you for your prayers and support...
