16 days ago I quit a bad drug addiction. I prayed, stayed in the word, claimed my promises, and God was there every step of the way. The doctor had me on detox medication and today when I found out they wouldn't refill my script I relapsed. I feel horrible, can't sleep, and don't know what to do. Prayers please.

I'm praying for you. You've been doing great. We all slip up, and slip ups like to tell you that it's the end because of it. Pray about it, ask forgiveness from it, then believe you really are forgiven because you are. You are allowed to keep going in spite of it. Hang in there!

hey, dont worry about it, you had 1 bad day but other than that your doing really well. Take each day as it comes... busy yourself if need be. people i help of drugs,, i get them training, what ever is right for you. running, swimming, cycling, they all make you feel good and build confidence. But again i say well done, God's with you now and his not one to give up on anyone seeking his help.., in fact its when we realise we cant do it by ourselves that his power can manifest itself in us. God bless you sister.

sweetheart, i think it must be easy, after a slip, to say, eh, i'll just chuck it.
giving it all up is just too hard.

but here you are with your beautiful honesty asking for prayer. :)

have you thought of nar-anon, AA, or some other group like it?
i know you feel lousy physically right now, but my niece found a group like that helpful.

you're in my little prayer book from last time.
just remember, God isn't horrified (or even surprised :) ).
He loves you just as much as ever. ♥

wantstogiveup, you have a huge "mountain" to climb and it doesn't get climbed easily or alone.

Keep reaching out to God and mature beliviers who have what you want in Jesus. God's job is to redeem and restore you, your job is to participate with Him and develop maturity (character, fruits of Holy Spirit working in you) with Him. I recommend Celebrate Recovery: Home to you and the book: Life Model. (It is available here for the new edition (more helps for studying and applying the material): Life Model: The Life Model: Living from the Heart Jesus Gave You or you can get a used copy at places like Amazon, online.) Are you involved with an experienced addictions counsellor in addition to your physician?
