I have a very hectic week and a half ahead of me. In just a few days I went from feeling like I was finally on track to losing my apartment. My roommate of 4 days backed out suddenly to care for her grandmother. By Gods grace, I've been given two weeks to move and not pay another month of rent which I do not have. I found some help, though I go to the pastors kinship so it's a bunch of old guys with injuries. I'm having to pack, hard my apartment prepared for the next tenant, and keep it clean and organized for viewings. Have you ever tried to move neatly?!
I've been known to go a little nuts when I move. The stress kills me and I end up breaking down sometime the night before its over as I'm forcing myself to stay up all night to clean baseboards, wash walls, and take a toothbrush to windowsills.
So far I've kept the stress under control, but that's because I have other things the prepare for. Tonight is a church potluck. Tomorrow is thanksgiving and the 5k ive been prepping for and I'm cookin with a friend. Friday is kinship. Sunday is church. Monday is an appt. Tuesday is bible study. Wednesday is church. Thursday is moving.
I'm not working so I have time. What I dont have are boxes, newspaper, cleaning supplies, and space.
So first please pray for my 5k tomorrow. It's my first and I got really sick a couple days ago so I just ran today for the first time in 4 days. Second, please pray that I get the supplies that I need. I have no income so it's not like I can just pop by the store and grab everything. I'm completely dependent on others.
