for the past couple of weeks I have been in a season of doubting. I've doubted my beleif in God, wheather he really is there, which I'm ssstill struggling with. I have doubted if I ever truly believed or ever realy heard his vouce. It has been giving me anxiety. I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. all I seem to do is cry. I'm afarid of losing my faith all together. ugh...Prayer please...and advise!!!

I know what that feels like.

My advice is to stay grounded. Pray that He would give you the grace to never walk away. Read lots of testimonies! Don't give up. There is so much evidence for His existence! Bless you!

I just lifted you up in prayer.. :)

The evilone wants to separate you from GOD but you must stand strong in your faith. During times like this it might be hard to read the word, But put on music that gives glory to GOD and when you can find bible verses that speak to what is going on. You are being sifted get some Christian friend over and pray and talk you will overcome. Use the word that is the weapon of choice and back it up with praise and pray.

James 1:4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Father GOD of strength and wisdom, guard this child of yours heart and mind in Yeshua’s Holy name I pray amen.

this is a verse that always help me-Isaih51:11-This makes you very happy even though now for a short time different troubles may make you feel sad. These troubles come to prove that your faith is pure. this purity of faith is worth more than gold which can be proven pure by fire but will ruin. But the purity of you faith will bring praise glory and honor when jesus christ is shown to you. you have not seen christ but still you love him you cannot see him now but you believe in him. so you are filled with a joy that cannot be explained a joy full of glory. and you are receiving the goal of your faith the salvation of your souls. you see right now your faith is being tested not because you are weak but because you are strong. all those doubts and fears are lies, you are stronger than the devil and he thinks if you have doubts and fears you will give up but i and god and everyone else here know different. i do not know you yet i feel the lord is wanting me to tell you this. god is stronger than the devil your faith is real and you have more power than the devil you have prayer something the devil will never be able to beat. The fact that you are afraid of losing your faith means you love god, it is when we are broken and beat when we find god the most he will never let you go. I know you can beat this and i will pray for you

Allow me to share this word from the bible
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

With all humility I am not really very good with bible verses. I read the bible because that's how the Lord speaks. I pray because that is my means of communication with the Lord Jesus that i haven't seen face to face. Doubt is the opposite of faith. When if i feel like that., i listen to one of my favorite christian songs..... listen to music. worship the Lord............Trust in the Lord...Do not listen to the lies of the enemy


Simple question asked to me way way back

Do you believe you have a brain?
My answer YES
Have you seen your brain?
My answer NO

But i believe i have a brain



Glory to the risen king!!!

I'm praying for you as well sweet_eyes! Even some of the greatest people in the bible have doubted. Look at John the Baptist for example in Luke 7. His life was committed to preparing the way for Jesus, and John knew Jesus was the son of God, yet doubted he was who he was while in prison. But Jesus fulfilled the prophesy written about himself in Isaiah 35:5-6 and sent the disciples back to John to tell him what he had done. He referred John back to the word to overcome his doubt. =] Peter said in 2 Peter 1 that they were eyewitnesses of Jesus and heard an audible voice from heaven, but they have also a more sure word of prophesy -- the scriptures! Your faith will come by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17) and you will be blessed for believing, though you haven't seen (John 20:29) :)

Read scriptures, pray, and talk to people about your faith and your doubt.

Hebrews 11 NIV 1984

1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
2 This is what the ancients were commended for.
3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

My very dear child, I think all of us who have walked with the Lord have gone through this sort of season. (or maybe I'd like to think that because I have gone through it? lol)

You may believe that your Father in heaven and your Savior Jesus are able to keep you!
You belong to the Lord, and NO ONE can snatch you from His hand.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30

These dry seasons come, my love. I believe they are part of our trials as a believer. It is for your benefit, though it probably does not seem that way right now. But when you come into a different season with the Lord, you will look back on this and see God's hand here, though you may not see it now.

"Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail" Luke 22:31-32

Our Lord Jesus spoke these words to Peter as Peter was about to enter into his denial of the Lord (quite a faith tester). Jesus didn't tell Peter that satan was denied permission to sift him, but He did tell Peter that He prayed for him (♥) that his faith would not fail. This same Jesus sits at the right hand of our Father and intercedes for us...for you, and is your advocate! He and the Father are ONE, and together they will not let your faith fail, sweetheart. God the Holy Spirit is ready to comfort you, and to guide you in the ways of righteousness for His Name's sake.

Jude 1:22
says we are to "have mercy on some, who are doubting". If the merciful God tells those who are beloved by him to be merciful to His own when this happens, do you think He Himself will do less, beloved of your Father? Of course not. :)

You may safely trust in the One who saved you. He is the author and finisher of your faith in Him. (Hebrews 12:2) He began this good work in you, and He will be faithful to complete it. (Phil 1:6)

I encourage you to do what you know to do--read the Word; pray; go to a good church where you can hear the Word preached truthfully. The rain will come, little one! This season will end, and you will emerge stronger, and one step further in your faith in Him.
And when the time comes, He will use you "strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble". (Hebrews 12:12; Isaiah 35:3)
Praise God! He places us here for one another! :)

I have prayed for you, my dear. I trust God to keep my failing memory sharp so I will remember to keep you in prayer. ♥ Hold on to Him...He will NOT let go of you.

Argh! This small 5 minute window to fix what I did wrong! ;)

I wanted to say that the end of what the Lord spoke to Peter in Luke 22 was this:
and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers. Luke 22:32b

This came from my husband, who was praying for you with me. He noticed that I had mentioned Hebrews 12:12, and said, "Just like Jesus told Peter to do."
He adds that what the Lord prayed for Peter was a prayer in the will of the Father, so we may KNOW it will be done. It has nothing to do with our faithfulness, and everything to do with His.

You may safely believe that my husband will remember to pray for you, even if I forget. And, what's more important, your God will remember you. ♥

Sweet-eyes, do not be discouraged or afraid, for all have these times of doubt.
They always pass and are followed with a renewal of faith that cannot be shaken.
This is not a time of loss for you, but of pruning, and the fruit you bare will be richer for it. :)
