I wanted to ask for prayer about following Christ more closely, letting go of personal fears, and dream interpretation.

Get the first two right, and you will not need the third, as you will be living the dream God has for you. So that's what I am praying for.

Dreams interpretation is not bad if you do it in a christian path. I do it often and it helps me to find right decisions in my life. Dreams interpretation is different from astrology that it's wrong because I think dreams are messages sent to us and we need to listen to them carefully.
Just my opinion

I think dreams usually are the result of what we are living and praying about in our waking life. Sometimes they can be a help, and sometimes they are just a warning that you have too much fear in your daily life, you need more faith.

I had a wonderful dream last night. In my life, my family has been acting so I have a choice to make, I can be angry and say "ain't it awful" or I can be loving and forgiving. They are adults, it is better I allow them to be, now.

Last night I dreamed I watched a man repair a house that his wife had taken a crowbar to. I asked him why, he quietly said that she sometimes became angry but he simply built the house back. It was as if this man in my dreams wiped my tears.

Following Christ more closely should help you deal with your fears. I don't think we should take our dreams too seriously.

Dreams are usually not from God. Rather they are created by our situations, including the temperature of the air. I do not worry about what my dreams are, because I know that God is in control of my life.

As far as fear, that is really a reason to seek God. The Bible says many times to "fear not". My thought is to start mediating on God's word. I have found Prov. 3:5-6 to be a great way to work on trusting God.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding,
In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight."

Here is a list of the "fear not' Bible verses. I hope it comes through!

Don't get caught up in the dreams thing. Everything else is more than enough. Praying for you. God bless.
