Hello everyone
Early this evening the Jesus Dome of Durban Christian Centre (the biggest church in Durban, South Africa) burned down. I know the Church is the people and not the building, but this building was part of a great legacy. Pastors Fred and Nellie Roberts have sacrificed much during their years of ministry, being faithful and obedient to God, they have forged something that transcends colour and culture, uniting people in Christ Jesus. I'm not part of their church congregation but I do attend their bible college. The people of their church that I've had the honour of meeting and getting to know have really become like family to me. Seeing pictures of the Jesus Dome burning really tore me up on the inside.
I ask that you keep Pastors Fred and Nellie Roberts and Pastors John and Joy Torrens in your prayers. Also uplift the congregation too please. Pray that all of this will work for good and that God will be glorified through this.
