I need to rally CC prayer warriors with a request. I just got off the phone with my cousin Deanna and her brother and my cousin John is going into emergency surgery at 8:00pm in Ohio. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about 2 years ago and was given 6 months to live. Thanks and praise be to God he is still alive but the cancer has gone into his liver and some lymph nodes and he has been in the hospital for awhile.. Please I request prayers for him and the doctor preforming the surgery. John has given his heart to God and we are thankful for that - its just so hard this time of year to have any bad thing going on and it breaks my heart that so many miles separate us. I am in Florida Deanna in Indiana and John in Ohio. Thanks for your prayers.

Sister, I pray for you cousin. I pray that God would guide the surgeon's hands, and that the surgery will go well. I pray that if it be God's will, that John will pull through this latest trial, and that this 'season' will not be marred for your family. I pray that he will be well enough to enjoy the holiday with your family, noting specifically the reason for the season.
May God be with you and your family in this difficult time.
In Jesus' name, I pray.

Update - Thanks for your prayers. My cousin John made it through the surgery last night I tried calling his sister today but did not get through to her for more details. Thanking God that John is still alive.

Dear Lord Jesus. Hold John in your loving arms. Lay your hands upon him, let your healing power surround John.
Thank you Lord

Re: When Healing Becomes A Crime

An update on my cousin John. He was moved to a nursing home facility around Christmas so he must be doing better. I just rely on what information is passed along to me. I keep praying for him that God keeps John in His hands according to God's will for John. Sometimes these new privacy laws get in the way of keeping track of your loved ones. Again thanks to all of you who have lifted my cousin John up in prayers. Your prayers are being heard and thanks to God John is still alive.
