Hey there prayer warriors,

Just been dissapointed in people of late .....the more ugly aspects of peoples nature have been coming to the fore and it has left me feeling jaded and somewhat disillusioned with the people I know.
I want to understand Gods love better because I understand that to be the key to truly loving others ...not just saying nice things to them - but truly having their best interests at heart.
I feel like I have been very self involved and self protective recently - which is mainly a defense mechanism against being hurt.When offended , it takes a long time for me to forgive and reconcile or even want that person back in my life ....I want to be able to forgive as a reflection of what I have recieved in Christ - but at the same time set healthy boundaries with people who cross my path.
At the moment I cant be bothered with the human race yet I know I am not better than anyone else - which is frustrating.
My prayer request is that I might better comprehend Gods love for me - that I may in turn love others through Him who died to set me on a path of love and service - even when their corruptions are all too apparent.

Jesus,

remind Mooky that we love because You first loved us. Remind this sister that those who know they are forgiven much, forgive much in turn.

Teach her to look to You as a reflection, Father, of who we should learn from and emulate. That even though we fall far from You, we are never forsaken by You. Guard her heart and hold her tongue, teach her to find revelations in Your word that she may be sure in her steps.

I pray this in Jesus name,

What usually brings me relief in that kind of situation is thinking of my own errors. Yeah, I've done the same in the past or not the same but also a mistake.
It gets easier to forgive as you want to be forgiven, and move on. Bless you :)

My dear sister,

I am sorry to hear that somebody has disappointed you in a way that made you feel like this. I guess we get to know what is lurking in folks hearts when we've been around them for some time, and sometimes we don't like what we are learning about them. True love is a gift from God, but not everybody who is crossing your path is of Him. Unfortunately, evil exists, and evil will disappoint us and even try to destroy us over and over again. If a person is evil, you might should forgive him or her, but I don't think that person should be taken back, because he/she will disappoint you again.

I will be prayin for you, sweety, and I know that the good Lord will make you comprehend His love for you:).

Gracious LORD,

I continue to pray for Mooky, may she find her heart softened by Your love and learn new revelations for what You have ordained her path to be. May she walk in the guidance of the Holy Spirit with her and learn peace in her heart and forgiveness for those who trespassed against her. May she learn humility to ask forgiveness of those she has trespassed against that she may release this spirit of oppression inside her heart.

I lift this sister to You in prayer, that Your light may shine upon her, not to expose her sin and flaws, but to expose the beauty of Your faithfulness and grace in her life.

I pray this for her in Jesus name,
