Would he be open to seeing a Christian counselor? If not you could remind him that while it your job to submit and obey, it is his job in the marriage to submit to the church and God. He is to take these lessons learned and teach the family. This does not leave much time left for xbox. Perhaps there is a small group that he could be involved in at the church to make better use of his time. There are many dads in the church that can be a support and mentor to him. Don't beat yourself up my dear, you are not the one backsliding. We Proverbs 31 women sometimes have to carry a heavy load, but this marriage can be put back on track. I am here for you friend for advice, to listen, or to help you find resources in your area.

Thanks Shelly! My husband and I just started going to church but have missed a couple of weeks. He grew up were his dad
was the same way very stubborn and selfish and has always said church people just want to take your money. He doesn't like me talking about our problems to people. I keep praying but feel at this point. I can't change him. He needs to change himself and don't feel he cares to. He acts like I am crazy and I need help :/ Please much prayers are needed. I love my husband so much but don't feel the same in return.

Rose I will continue to pray for you. Our God is so wonderful He can do anything!!! All we have to do is ask him, and by grace he takes care of us. You are not praying alone anymore sis....

Father i pray for a restoration in the marriage of our fellow brother and sister, Lord take away all arguments and allow your spirit to bring conviction, let it be know unto her husband the truth of his surroundings, let it be made his children to be more precious rather than idolizing video games, restore his understanding and relationship with you, restore truth in this household, and restore this family in unity with Christ, break down the distractions of the enemy and the anxiety, Jesus be the center of this house of our fellow sister and brother, let i be know that you are great and even in this circumstance there is something greater happening, Father call out your son and daughter and bring peace into their hearts through Christ Jesus our savior thank you Jesus in you we find refuge and strength and hope we pray in your sons name AMEN

Rose, you, your husband and children are in my prayers in Jesus.
I was a stay at home mom as well, with five children, and for a time my husband.s faith was more someting to do, than lived.
I dont need to tell you how it effected our marraige, Im sure you know it well.
Jesus helped me to see that I could not change my husband, and that in faith, I had to give him to Jesus, trusting all to God.
Then serve as called to in scripture.
In time Jesus brought His change in my husband, and Jesus continues to this day, and my husband gave his heart to Jesus and continues to live in Jesus to this day.
Jesus is doing a much better work than I ever could.
I know the struggles you are going through, but know, that Jesus will and does give you all you need to sustain and comfort you, with a peace that surpasses all understanding.
I just wanted to witness to this for you.
