It sounds to me like the issue you face is trust.
I had this trouble for years, and forgive me if I am missing the point here, but
as for me, if things were going well, I trusted God.
But when things began to go in a different direction from the one I expected,
I doubted the Lord, and my thoughts (which I should have taken captive) were not honoring to Him.
I'm naturally skeptical, and cynical, and these things the Lord has wanted to deliver me from for so long, but I was unwilling.
(my problem is that I tend to expect the worst so I can't be disappointed.)
I don't believe God wishes for me to be cynical. It's diametrically opposed to His nature, and it's that nature I should "put on".
Anything that comes 'naturally' to me must be bad for my spiritual health, because it's flesh.
I must decrease, and He must increase.
My cynical nature says "doubt all things" and Christ's nature says 'bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, endure all things" (1 Cor.13) because His very nature is love.
To doubt God's love is to doubt His existence, since He IS love. ♥
In fact, any doubt in or about Him is contrary to what we hope (expectantly wait for) in, which is to become conformed to His character.
I pray you will do what I did not at your age, and that is to examine your thoughts and take captive those which deny the Lord as He speaks of Himself in His Word.
And that you will continue in doing what you began so well: praising Him, and thanking Him in all things.
He is faithful to the very core of His being, and He (alone) can be trusted. ♥
All His promises to You are yes! and I pray you will receive strength to stand in the grace you have received in Christ, dearest.
