Sister Joy20 When I first came to the Lord sister,I, like you cried out a great deal to the Lord,I made my requests known to him,got up, and thought Boy!! I sure hope he heard me,my friends downstairs probably did i was yelling so loud!! LOl When I got up to attend to something else my feeling and emotion told me, you know God is a very busy man,you will be lucky by tomorrow if you still believe yourself what you have prayed!
Sure enough a couple of days later I was back to the same prayer I already prayed! Hoping, praying God would just give me a hint,to help both my mind and spirit. What am i doing wrong here? So instead of praying for a need I had,I asked the Lord in prayer what I was doing wrong?
And I am going to be here until you answer me,if i have to be here for a month!!If i die here without an answer it will not be my fault! For 3 days and nights I never moved from the spot! i was mad and upset!I had every reason to be this way I thought!! LOL I said David prayed all day!!( psalms 25:5) i was as well doing this.( 1 cor 9:27and 2 cor 10:5 was taking place as well,although at the time i did not realize this.
Upon the evening of the third night I felt a whisper of a wind enter my room,and inside as clear as one speaking to another came these words from the Lord inside me." I heard you before you even prayed the first time mark,but how is it,that I am only good enough for you during tough times,and you wonder why you have had so many of them?
You have had so many tough times because when you do not,you never acknowledge me!( proverbs 3:6!!!!) Look very hard at this dear sister!! In what? ALL ways acknowledge HIM And he will make your paths straight. For my son how can one ever incline there ears to my saying unless they are always willing to acknowledge me in there everyday life?
When you start by including me in EVERYTHING you do or say,then I will also know from you when you will give attention to my words as well!!( proverbs 4:20-22!!!) Always had bible with me in my prayer closet,for I did know the Lord uses his words to confirm things to me.
If we learn to include our Jesus in all that we think or do,we also will give attention to his words as well sis! Upon great praise, even singing before God( psalms 100:1-5) With great thanksgiving which I learned upon the second day of my fast,Jesus taught me how his very love can abide in us no matter what our feeling and emotions are looking for us to do. Jesus is not in feeling or emotion,he is in the realm of the believer!
TO just do one thing!!ONLY BELIEVE!( mark 5:35-36)No matter what others do or even say to us sis!! Belief comes from the faith Jesus has himself already given you.( Hebrews 11:6) MUST!!!( not yelling sis,just big letters to point to the importance of them is all hehe) BELIEVE!
That he is and that HE is a rewarder to those who do what sis?? amen SEEK HIM! You dear sister wish to hear his voice,and you dear sister shall indeed! IF you will learn, as i had to these principles.They are not easy lessons sis i know! But the question becomes this for us,How bad do you really wish for Jesus to become a part of our lives? I cannot answer for any but me sis. I have now been in the Lord for a little over 34 years,and have had to learn so many lessons at Holy Spirit School!!( 1 john 2:27)
It costs no money to enter sis,it only costs us our time,and will!But the price we pay to graduate from this school not only helps us greatly,but others who are in line to attend his school as well,for they who are lined up witness those who have come forth from this school,and know something!!They will never ever be the same again!! Joy, If you feel God is speaking to or through you in your prayers odds are he is. he does this all the time with me, I have prayed for the same things over and over for almost an entire year. I do not get the answer to them all at once as the things I am asking for are very big things, he gives me the answer to my prayers little by little. If you want something bad enough you will never cease praying for them even if it takes ten years. I would like to know what you are asking for because if I know God like I think I know him whatever you may be asking for he is already working on it:]

Joy I think God is already at work on your prayer request, the thing about trusting God is that it doesn't even take a whole lot of trust in him just enough to know that he will take care of you. The mustard seed is a good reference to both faith and trust, what helped me to trust him was to say to him I trust you even if I did not completely trust him and eventually as I said this a lot I actually found myself trusting him more and more
