I began reading the book of Luke today, and was struck by Luke 1:49

For the Mighty One has done great things for me; And holy is His name.

We all have needs, and some of us are quite desperate in our need. :(
But I hoped this might be a bit of encouragement to us all.

For the Mighty One is the same to us as He was to Mary.
He has done great things for each of us, and we should expect that to continue,
whatever form it takes...:)

much love in Jesus,
ellie

Psalms 121:1- 3
A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills--where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip--he who watches over you will not slumber

Ezekiel 36:27
And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

If we ask...he will help us be who he wants us to be!
How easy is that!

I love you guys!!! You make my heart full of Jesus Joy!!!

Big hugs and kisses on the cheek!
(I save my lips for my hubby.)

Psalm 107:8-15

8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
13 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
15 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Amen!
For some reason, Psalms 145 and 146 spring to mind... :)
I won't write them out here, but they are wonderful!

You know what...I will write them out!
Psalm 145

1
I will extol You, my God, O King,
And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
2 Every day I will bless You,
And I will praise Your name forever and ever.

3 Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised,
And His greatness is unsearchable.

4 One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts.

5 On the glorious splendor of Your majesty
And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.

6 Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts,
And I will tell of Your greatness.

7 They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness
And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.

8 The LORD is gracious and merciful;
Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.

9 The LORD is good to all,
And His mercies are over all His works.

10 All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD,
And Your godly ones shall bless You.

11 They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom
And talk of Your power;

12 To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts
And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.

14 The LORD sustains all who fall
And raises up all who are bowed down.

15 The eyes of all look to You,
And You give them their food in due time.

16 You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.

17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways
And kind in all His deeds.

18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.

19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He will also hear their cry and will save them.

20 The LORD keeps all who love Him,
But all the wicked He will destroy.

21 My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD,
And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.

Psalm 146
1 Praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD, O my soul!

2 I will praise the LORD while I live;
I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.

3 Do not trust in princes,
In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.

4 His spirit departs, he returns to the earth;
In that very day his thoughts perish.

5 How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
Whose hope is in the LORD his God,

6 Who made heaven and earth,
The sea and all that is in them;
Who keeps faith forever;

7 Who executes justice for the oppressed;
Who gives food to the hungry.
The LORD sets the prisoners free.

8 The LORD opens the eyes of the blind;
The LORD raises up those who are bowed down;
The LORD loves the righteous;

9 The LORD protects the strangers;
He supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He thwarts the way of the wicked.

10 The LORD will reign forever,
Your God, O Zion, to all generations.
Praise the LORD!

Thanks, Red! :)

That is an awesome testimony, dear friend! :)
Without a word you accept what the Lord brings into your life. ♥

I praise Him that it's restored, and that you survived its loss!
And I thank Him for your return, too.
It makes our little part of His Body feel complete!
