Hi shirley, some home remedies can be good, but one should make sure with their dr, or one that has good knowladge in this.
There are some home remedies that can be harmful as well, simply because one should not try and treat what a dr should be seen for.

You are always in my prayers. :)

Hugs and God bless

Shirley, I was just this morning thinking of trying a "natural" remedy for an ailment!
I do think they work! But I also think that all herbal remedies for things have chemical components that, like pickles said, need to be checked against any other things we may be taking to see if there are contraindications, as they say in the medical field. Some natural remedies have bad reactions with others. :/

And there is that danger that we may be treating something that really needs to be in the care of a doc.
I am blessed to have a doc who is a friend, and a brother in the Lord. He'll always go with something "natural" first, or at least be open to it, unless he feels it just won't suffice. I have come to trust him in this, and he has learned to trust me, too. :)

We have a mutual friend who has fibromyalgia, and under our doc's supervision (and with his approval) our friend is taking a medicine made for horses for the pain, and it's helping! He kindly gave me some to try when we met at my daughter's wedding. It tastes just awful, so I haven't bolstered my courage to the sticking point yet. ;)

Was there something particular on your mind?

I use nutrition and supliments for health all the time.

Ezekiel 47:12
Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing."

I see a Naturopath Doctor, and she helps me find what is right.
A good book to get is "Prescription For Nutritional Healing"
They also have a website prescriptionfornutritionalhealing.net

Hope this helps...
Love in Jesus, Shekaniah
