To be honest, I knew this would happen. And I would really love to just call my mom and let her have it. But I won't. I got a long expletive laden text from my younger brother a few minutes ago saying that he never wanted to speak to me again.
Because of my mom's toxicity, I chose to stop speaking to her a few weeks ago until her counselor called me and told me she was in counseling. I made it very clear to her what the parameters were. However, she ignored them and kept trying to contact me. Over 3 weeks I was called a failure for daughter, a sadist, told I wasn't in God's will, and told that she couldn't believe she gave birth to me. In 10 messages, 9 of them were cruel and the 10th was neutral. Mind you, I sent her two cards during this time: one for her surgery recovery and one for her birthday. Today I got a call from my cousin whom I haven't spoken to in a long time who said she just wanted to check up on me. I knew that was my mom's doing because she is staying at the same house of that cousin.
On my way home from work I got a very derrogatory text from my brother which ended in me losing his phone number and never speaking to him again. I'm not even mad at my brother. He's so manipulated by my mom. He is 26, but she has him wrapped around her little finger.
