I hear you. I tried to kill myself when I was 17. It obviously didn't work. I promised I wouldn't try it again, but yeah, I'd rather cut to the chase and be with God now than 'persevere' in this forsaken world as God says it for another day. Yet persevere I do and will continue to.
That's not to say that God hasn't used me since that attempt to help others. He'll use you too if you give Him a chance. Oh sure you'll still be stuck in this pit, but God likes it when we help make another's pit a little less deep. That's call banking up on the other side. And every day you suffer this pit for Him, you bank more. So really, by killing yourself now, you cheat yourself out of the opportunity to bank up in the bank of God.
So grit your teeth, persevere thru, and every morning ask yourself how much you're going to bank up today for the other side. And who knows, there may be days when you get to make a deposit in someone else's account too. You'll still be in this cesspool, but know that you will be washed clean if you persevere thru.

I once planned to do it and God sent a preacher to help me understand I was wrong and would have missed a lot of thing I know, a bunch of things I enjoyed, before leaving this planet that has few things I´m enjoying now.
I hope He (God) sent you a person to listen to.

LostLamb, we know we are not OF this world but have been placed IN it for a purpose. God put you IN it for good reason...until HE calls you home it is your duty to serve Him here. Ask Him what His plans are for you, ask Him to draw close to you and fill you anew with His spirit and ask Him for comfort. In the meantime don't listen to the enemy telling you to bail out, demand He leave your thoughts in Jesus' name.

Okay, I will say right now that your feelings of contemplating on taking your life DOES NOT mean that you are weak. It DOES NOT mean that your problems are any less than someone who's facing something and still willing to live. I'm tired of people saying (and yes, I have loved ones who told me this upfront when I was needing someone most and even said I wanted to die) that wanting to take your own life means that you are too weak. It DOES NOT HELP! If anything, it can make the person feel worse and sink more into worthlessness! Unless you have been there yourself and know the full or at least a good amount of effects this type of thing puts on the person who didn't just wake up and thought 'hey, I think I want feel like dying today', you really have no say as to what a person is or isn't in a vulnerable and dreadful state. Once a person feels this way and gets anxiety/depressed, chances are that they will feel it again.
Seeing this post was made a day ago, I hope that nothing drastic has happened and that you are able to cope throughout that time. Sometimes sharing does help, but ultimately if it starts to feel unbearable then you need to seek help offline. It's not something to mess around with.

*It might be true, and I agree with you that it is a terrible world of sin, but God's creation out power's and out shines the darkness of the world. His light shines upon our path, for he is a light unto us. Evil comes to discourage everyone. Take a look at Elijah, he was one of the boldest*Prophets, out ran a chariot of horses, but sat under a tree, and said this to God, in*discouragement, take his life, he was going to die anyway. God had a different plan for him, he took him but took him alive, and he didn't die. Sometimes we think the wrong things, things that are not in the will of the Lord. I've been in a*situation*like being bitten by vipers, and that*poison*actually caused me spiritual illness, I prayed, that those words of poison that come as fiery darts from hell, be removed, it caused a lot of despair. I know it wasn't from the Lord, this is how you know, "we are to build one another up." Prefer one another better, as Jesus said, be the servant, and wash the feet of the other, for the master or the greatest must become a servant. Father bind up the*strongman*those things that are*causing*discouragement, and despair, and losing hope in you. It is not of you Lord, it is a evil spirit that wants to control the will and thoughts, let the power of the*covenant*that was done by Jesus, be applied to their life, mind, and spirit, body, and home, let the peace come in as a mighty wave washing all the*filth*away, and cleanse every thing Lord in Jesus name. The kingdom of God is within you. When you pray, you will be in his presence.
