These itinerant preachers were forced to have open air meetings in the woods and fields because no place could often accommodate or churches did not want to accommodate them. People would praise the Lord outdoors openly. The Armies of Israel would send out there worshipers to go ahead of the warriors in battle. Our strength in the Lord many times comes in worship and praise of him. I long for the days to come upon this nation where once again we will not just go outside to see sporting events or secular music concerts. I agree with you. don't worry there is enough of heaven for all of us, and more, no buildings to worship God in, for he himself is everywhere to be seen, I believe and the kingdom of God is within us. :) Good post. TY

I know it's been awhile, but we do get blind sided sometimes, a heavy tarp, or darkness comes between us and the road that were to go on. The remedy for this is this; stay in the light, there is one who created the world, and knows the blue prints, the traps, the roads, and the back roads. He knows us mere people, of his creation, and that there was a need for a light to be given to us, to make it through in encouragment, and not defeat, in the light, and not in the darkness. Jesus Christ, the light , the way, the truth, "thy word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. Why is the bible being trashed, it must be very valuable, I cried once at a yard sale, there was a bible I wanted to buy, a hard cover, called the Amplified Bible, and as I was driving one day, I felt lead to stop, and check out the yard sale, there was what I was praying for, like brand new, hard cover, and it was 25 cents.
I gulped and to me it was a priceless treasure. But then there came other things, that put those things, back on the yard sale, and they collect dust. This is why sometimes our answer's are within us, we just don't see them covered by the darkness, hiding the truth, and the way, the miracles, the blessings in our life. So this prayer had been answered. The word is a light, and prayer is a line of communication for revelation.
