My 6 month old is having a ct scan next week to see why one side of his head is bigger than the other. I am a nervous wreck and have cried all day. After I got the news today my boss pretty much told me my job was on the line. I just started this position a month ago and have been told I am doing wonderful until today. I have to meet a quota before the end of this month. I need this job for my son. I have worried myself sick over everything.

Abba, I thank You for the internet, and for this site, and for this young mother and her precious little baby.
I lift this young woman to You, Lord, the Source of all we need, and ask You to deliver her from worry. To me this seems like a huge request, as our children are so precious to us, and worry comes second nature to a mom. But You told us not to worry, but rather to cast our cares on You. I ask that she be able in You to do this, and to trust You with her little one. Dear Father, please miraculously meet this quota at work, and be her righteous judge at work. I pray You would work in the heart and mind of her boss to her benefit, and that she will keep this job, for the sake of her child.
I ask for the baby that the CT will reveal nothing bad or scary. I pray, Lord, that it will please you to heal whatever it is that's affecting his little head. I thank You, Abba, that You are able to do anything. ♥
In the Name above all, the Savior and King, Jesus, amen! May it be so!

Dear child, I share this in hopes it will encourage you-- our daughter was 11 months old when blood tests revealed she had, according to the docs, either a fatal liver disease or a brain tumor. Our church prayed like crazy for her, and it totally freaked me out when the pediatrician called every day asking how I was doing. Our little girl saw a dozen specialists, and had all sorts of tests, but the diagnosis persisted.
That same child, 26 years later, was married to a lovely man 2 months ago, and is perfectly healthy. I think sometimes God delights in showing the "wise" (in this case the docs) that they don't know everything...like the future, or how BIG He is. :) (He also likes to remind us of this from time to time as needed.) When our daughter got better, almost overnight, they all squirmied and said, "Well, we don't like to use the word 'miraculous', but...we don't know what else to say."
I'm asking the Lord for
a similar outcome for you, dear child. Hang on to Jesus. And think of this:
we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:3-5

with love in Jesus,
ellie

I will be praying for you, your son and your job.
Give all your cares to the Lord in Prayer.

My youngest had a funny shaped head, it was congenital torticollis.
It was the way he was sitting in uetro.
He is fifteen yrs old now and he is fine.
His head and neck doesn't even look odd any more.

What causes congenital torticollis?

Congenital torticollis is most often due to tightness in the muscle that connects the breastbone and the collarbone to the skull. (It's called the sternocleidomastoid muscle). This is called congenital muscular torticollis. This tightness might have developed because of the way your baby was positioned in the uterus (with the head tilted to one side) or because the muscles were damaged during delivery.

Here is a verse to put in your pocket when needed...

Phil 4:6 & 7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

God bless and take care, Shekaniah
