For the last four mornings my husband has been hearing a puppy crying. I had not heard anything and told him we still do not have neighbors on that side. He went outside and checked and there was a small puppy that you could see her little bones sitting right underneath his bedroom window. The puppy looks to me to be lab and Dalmatian. My Chihuahuas are three times her size and are having a hard time with her. We bought her some formula and soft dog food and she looks to be doing ok. She can’t run very well I am not sure if that is from age or malnourishment. We are going to keep her long enough to get her health and then decide if we will keep her. I would like to keep her but if when she gets older and our dogs do not become friends we would have to give her up and then she might be to old to get a home. Please pray the Lord guides us in the way to go with this dog who we have named lucky.

Oh poor thing, animals who are hurt, especially young ones are so sad to see. It's not fair, they don't understand it all and get hurt to easily. Who knows what that poor things history is. Praying for Lucky! Please keep in check with how she's doing.

Lucky looks like a black Lab with some white areas. One of her little feet are poka doted like a Dalmatian. I have been looking on line and a lad should weight about 10-16 lbs at 8 weeks. She is a little heaver then 2 lbs. She has her teeth but not all of them so from what I have looked up on the net she is between 4-7wks. At less than 3lbs I don’t know what she is. I will put a photo up if I can find out how to do that from my phone.

Dear Shilo, Your heart is in the right place to care for this dog in the way you do. That is wonderful that you have taken her in when obviously she was left out in the cold to fend for herself in her delicate state. God will bless you for your kind actions as He loves the animals too. It is my hope and prayer that if all goes well she will be able to stay with you in your loving home and that your other dogs will not have a problem with her either in the house or yard. God will sometimes send a poor animal like that to our home just to see what kind of heart we have and how we will respond. He is thus giving us an opportunity to respond with kindness and Love as many would turn a poor defenseless animal away that is in need.

May God bless you and "Lucky". She is indeed 'lucky' to be alive due to your generosity and kind actions.
