Hi, my name is maddie. My husband and I have been married 3 years tomorrow.. We have been separated once for about 8 months and then got back together to work things out... I have a extremely hard time trusting him... He's military so he is deployed now, and has been for 2 months and will be gone for another 6 months. I'm having a tough time finding my hope and security in our marriage again.. I love him but after all we went through I have lost a lot of respect and a lot of affection towards him, which puts even more of a strain on our marriage... I need advise or just prayer..thank you

Im going through a separation myself because of trust issues and have fought for the "commitment" because of the vow regardless of how many times the vow has been violated. I have a couple threads on my situation if you are inclined to compare relativity. I will be back on tomorrow at noon so ill try to offer more. Hang tight. GB

Father, give this person wisdom on what to do regarding their marriage. In Jesus name, amen. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hi Maddie,

“Dear Lord, please guide this special sister during the trouble in her marriage. And her ears shall hear a word behind her saying, this is the way, walk here, when she turns to her right and when she turns to her left" (see Isa. 30:21).

“Please reassure her when she sees a thousand fall on her right side and ten thousand at her left; help her to know that if she follows You, it will not happen to her (see Ps. 91:7). Hide her under your protective wings."

“Help her to find the narrow path that will lead her to life, the abundant life you have for her and for her family. Lord, I pray for a testimony that you can use for Your glory when this troubled or broken marriage is healed and restored! We will give You all the honor and the glory. Amen.”

And read their book "How God can and will restore your marriage".

I hope you find the answers and the help you need in their site as I did. For nothing is impossible with God. He is the answer to everything. Amen!

Hi MyPottersClay,

I posted a response for Maddie and saw your post.

I would also like to share the two links with you that I shared with Maddie. It is a ministry that is dedicated to helping women and men restore their marriages God's way. I hope you will check it out and find help and relief.

Father, please guide our sisters in this journey they are on. Help us to look to you for guidance and find the comfort we are searching for in You. You alone can help us in our time of need. Thank you Father for all that you are doing in our lives and all that you will do. Thank you Lord because nothing is impossible with you. Amen!
