My dad is having issues with his heart. There was evidence that he had a stroke as well, but it went un-noticed as far as we're concerned. My concern is that his father, my grandpa, died at a young age because of heart problems and this might happen to my dad as well. I wish for people to pray that he seeks and becomes closer to God.
He grew up in the Catholic church, was an alter boy and was taught by nuns, but I am not sure how much of his faith was forced upon him, instead of authentically sought after. Either way, he doesn't go to church now, and I really don't know much about what he believes. He just doesn't talk about those things, and things get a bit awkward when I talk about school (i'm at a christian university). He might have a distorted view of Christianity, God and faith.
I would like for a few people to pray that he draws closer to God, that God reveals who He truly is, and who my father is in His eyes; that he may live the rest of his life knowing the Truth and live in Joy.
