Early this morning, debating with some people on here, and I embraced it with my rudeness and foolishness, pride and arrogance. Lost myself in the arguments, lost my temper with the endless debates. Please pray for me, and for everyone in the bible forum. We all need it. Thank you. :)

One must refrain from losing their temper if they hope to win a debate. Often the debate is won simply because one did NOT lose their temper. It is more fun to win the debate than it is to yell at someone. So don't lose your temper.

This is why I refrain from debates, as much as possible. Just my opinion, but does anybody ever win amongst debates? Debates to me, is another word for arguments. I figure that I must simply explain my view, in some cases explain it in more depth, and let the other opinions take it or leave it. Counteracting others opinions seem to be an endless and dangerous game. Just my experience with this matter, but I don't remember many folks coming away fulfilled and at peace after heavy debating. It's so easy to go too far, and eventually one or the other, are trying to forcefully cram opinions down each other's throat.

I'll pray for you my friend and all the folks of this forum. It's good you brought this to prayer.

God bless you my friend, and may you help be a keeper of peace.

The Bible forum is always in my prayer, and the Prayer room always prays for those so willing to debate the rights and wrongs and the opinions shared between members. Its natural to get worked up. God bless.
