This demonstrates the teaching that God's ways are not man's ways. You are comforted, and this is your response from the Lord. As for any funeral mass, it is for those who believe in such things, not for others. All will be fine, God says so, amen.

Thank you Margaret. This whole thing has also given me a stronger view of prayer, because of how God was in everything. Every single second was planned out perfectly. So many were praying for her and it was just incredible. Now it's onto the rest of the family, and times of grief bring an opportunity to encourage them to turn to God.

I'm not overly worries about my cousin interfering, because God is greater and no one gets in the way of His plans :)

Absolutely Jack. I'm getting stronger more and more on these things and will worry less because of what just happened. I had handed it all over to God :)

A few days before her death (when she was frail and hardly talking) my pushy cousin had a priest come to the hospital to give her communion. She did not ask for it at all, but my cousin was very pushy. (By the way, she once rushed her baby to the church for fear that he would go to hell if he died before baptism! Very superstitious)

Anyway, just shows that the priest's presence was irrelevant. God got through and this priest became invisible. God does as He chooses and no man stands in the way. Amen :)

I WAS LEAD TO TAKE TO THE WEB ABOUT PRAYER, AND WAS LEAD HERE. THE LORD IS FAITHFULL. I BELIEVE YOUR MOM SAW HER SPIRIT TAKEN, I DID ONCE LIKE A VAPOR, JUST AS THE SCRIPTURE SAYS. I KNOW THE LORD GAVE HER YOUTH BACK ALSO. IT'S NOT WRONGE TO ASK THE LORD FOR A SIGN, EVEN ASKING FOR PEACE IN A SITUATION IS A SIGN THAT IT IS RIGHT. A POWERFULL TESTIMONEY OF THE SHADOW OF GOD'S LOVE HOVERING OVER AND WITH US. I HOPE THERE IS PEACE IN THE FAMILY. THE SCRIPTURE SAYS "WE FIGHT NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD", DON'T LET THE THORNS OF DENOMINATIONAL WALLS DIVIDE AT THE WAKE. GOD'S POWER IS GREATER AND THE DENOMINATIONAL WALLS MEAN NOTHING TO HIM, HE SPEAKS THROUGH THEM, AND WALKS AMONGST US UNSEEN. HE WILL SPEAK TO EACH ONE. SOWING SEEDS OF LOVE, AND THE FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL BRING THE BEAUTIFUL HARVEST, AND THE FLOWERS OF UNITY, MORE THAN EARTHLY FLOWERS LAID ON THE GROUND WHICH WILL JUST WILT AWAY. FATHER YOU ARE ALL POWERFULL AND MIGHTLY, BRING CONVICTION THROUGH YOUR WAYS, FOR LOVE NEVER FAILETH. IN THE MIDST OF LOSS THERE IS GREAT VICTORY DONE. THANK YOU FOR A GRANDDAUGHTHER WHO''S SENSITIVE TO YOUR DIRECTIONS, AND GIVE HER PEACE IN HER HEART IN THE MIDST OF DIVISION. FATHER , YOU WILL USE ALL THIS FOR YOUR GLORY, IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

In light of a recent thread, I would like to confirm something with you all.......

I am not a conspiracy theorist and I don't share information online which I know to be false or anything that misrepresents a particular situation. The update I shared here really happened.

This is important for me to share...

When I spoke of things happening in 3's I should've given more details, because it may not have been understood and may have looked like a conspiracy theory. It certainly is not. It's very much something God has used in my christian life to get my attention. I know you may not understand, but it is true, it does happen. I'm not talking about seeing the number 3 on a road sign or anything like that, I'm talking about specific things which are from God, where He gives the message 3 times.

Here are just 2 examples.....

* He chastised me 3 times while I was backsliding, and this brought me back to Him.

* About 3 weeks ago I fell out with someone and was out of sorts, so I stepped away to think and pray. The next day I turned on the tv to watch my lunch show and the pastor was talking about forgiveness. I came to the forums that afternoon and was directed to a post by a believer who spoke of forgiveness and selfishness. Later that same day I watched my evening show and the pastor was talking about forgiving those who wronged you. 3 times God told me to forgive, in the one same day. He works in 3's with me to get my attention, as this has happened on several occasions.

When I mentioned about the things leading up to my gran's death, they were all very real. I could see every detail was planned perfectly, down to the right people being there at the right time, things being said when they needed to be. Also, God giving me confirmation, of what I prayed about, before she died.

Some will deny that God works in situations like these. Yes, we study God's word, but we all have a personal relationship with Him. He speaks to His children and the things He did in this situation were amazing. People can deny all they like, but I have peace over this and I know what happened, which is the only thing that really matters.

Hi Katy its great to hear your testimony about your grandmother.

When my husband's papa died we found these scriptures to be reassuring:

Psalm 23

[h=3]Psalm 23[/h]
23 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

[SUP]5 [/SUP]You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell[SUP][a][/SUP] in the house of the Lord
Forever.

Glory to be unto God! Thank you for sharing this powerful testimony :) The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs —- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
